II. Information Source
I used a few sources to complete my assignment, first I use the TSG
(teaching strategies gold) (Analyzed report) tool, I also used the DECA report,
and the home school connection. I also sat with mom a few times and ask
her questions about his social life at home and any family updates.
I used completely focused natural observations on the child and focus on the
developmental progress he has made; I also take daily observations
(anecdotes) I focus on the areas of need and on his areas of strength. I plan
developmental appropriate activities on my lesson plan to help AV in his areas
of need and challenge him on his strength areas.
III.

right now she is on maternity leave. The social development he receives is
AV arrives daily with a smile in his face and with a positive relationship
with his peers, he is a very persistent in trying new things with his friends
(for instance- he spend more than 20 minutes working in a project with 3
other friends while working in the block area until the tower was
complete) AV easily separates from his mom daily.( for instance- he will
kiss and hug his mom and said bye mom Ill see you later I love you)

collage materials, he put a liner in the table and when he finish, he rollup

Then he will return and put his art in his cubby.
will like to create a family book, then I will ask him to collect the pictures
that he has drawn and to add more if he likes, then I will help him stapled
in a book form we will probably discuss about adding a cover page, and a
title to his book, and at the end of the day I will ask him to read it to the
group. I will also incorporate some map stories they are so much fun
because I can easily involve AV while creating the story, this will keep him
interest in the story. (For instance I will use a chart paper and explain
what a map story is, then I will ask what he will like the story to be about
then we will proceed to start the story and read it at the end of the day.

attempts of encouragement, he sat quietly and try two rhyming words but
become frustrated, even know the words where correct, he shrugged hi
shoulders, shook his head and left the group. He returned to the art area.

and since AV has a close relationship with one of his friends in the
classroom and his mom knows EW mom, AV mom decided to babysit EW
since EWs mom was looking for a baby sitter. Also I encourage mom to
visit the class when she is able so that she can personally see his
development growth and ways that we can work together to continue the
growth. I offer to provide summer activities and ideas to keep him
developmentally get ready for kindergarten. I encourage mom to sit with
him and make up games using rhyming words, also to continue encourage
him to keep creating his own books to read and add some words that
rhyme. I explain how this is important to increased literacy and books at
an early age; this will help AV in his future education journey.
