DERRICK

1- While Drilling
Stop TDS
Pick up (Tool Joint above Rotary Table 1 M)
Stop Mud pump and Flow check if we have Flow
Close BOP (Ram Type) and Open HCR of Choke line.
Notify Drilling Supervisor
Observe SICP & SIDPP.
2- While Tripping
Set String on Slip (Rotary Table)
Install Safety valve and Close it
Flow check if we have return
Close BOP (Ram) and open HCR for Choke line.
Connect TDS after used 5 pipe joint drill pipe.
Observe SICP (To observe SIDPP we should open safety valve and IBOP of
TDS)
Indicators
1- While Drilling
Increase Mud tank volume
Fast break drilling (Production formation)
SPP decrease
Some gas bubble on mud
Mud Weight Decrease

2- While Tripping
Fill up volume is less than material (Drill string) displace for DP (sheet fillup)
Sometime especially when string is on slips we have flow (hard)
If bit sub valve do not work, and mud comes from DP
