announcingmyquestaswellassometemporarycompanionswhowouldstartwithme.I
willnotforgetthatfatefuldaywhichmarkedthesearchforthetruthbehindthisthing
calledgenepatenting,whichhadbeenthecauseofmanyseriousconflicts.LittledidI
knowatthetime,thatbychoosingtopursuethedefensivedeductiveargument,Ihad

calledthereasonswhypatentsongenesareproperunderU.S.patentlawandwhythey
representwisesocialpolicy.Continuingdownthispath,youmakeyourfirstturnat
banningsuchpatentsriskshuttingdownalargepartoftheindustryandcreatingamajor
roadblocktoprogressinpatientcareandfoodproduction.Downthisroadyouwill
followasubtunnel,genepatents,morespecificallypatentclaimstonucleotide
sequencesarefundamentalandcriticaltothebiotechindustry.Thesubtunnelleadsto

Addressedtotheauthoroftheargument,Ihopetoconvinceforhim/hertoseemy
pointofview.Theeverintelligentargueroughttobeabletoagreewithmydiffering
pointofview.Iwilladmit,he/shewasratherwisetobringuptheopponents
unintelligibleclaimsbeforecompletelyobliteratingthemwiththeirown.However,Iam
surethearguerneedsnotmypraisetocometomypointofview,seeingashisonly
optionsaretoeitheragreewithmeorbeincrediblywrong.Simultaneously,itisfoolish
toangerthecreature.Therefore,Ihavedecidedtocometoacompromise,hopefullythat
shallappeasethearguer.
WhilegenepatentingmaybeproperunderU.S.patentlaw,theyarenevertheless
utterlystupid.Whoeverbelievessuchathingasbeneficialmusthavesuchlow
intelligence,theremustbeanewpsychologicaltermtospecificallydescribetheirmental

Totheauthoroftheaforementionedargument,Iwishtoreviewmycurrent
understandingofwhatexactlyyouwereattemptingtoportray.Obviously,youarepro
genepatenting,duetoyourbeliefthatpatentsongenesareproperunderU.S.patent
lawandthattheyrepresentwisesocialpolicy.Tosupportyourargument,youhave
sharedhowgenepatentsarefundamentalandcriticaltothebiotechindustry,
consideringhowpatentsprotectdruginventionsnecessaryfortoday.Anargumentyou
havesupportedbymentioninghowtheConstitutionalreadyprovidesforit,aswellas
howthenewinventionshelpimprovethehumancondition.

Terminology
Ifeartheadrenalinewhichwascoursingthroughmyveinsuponmeetingthefoul
creaturehadpossessedmetoattackitnotone,butfivetimes!Theeventwhichfollowed
wastraumatic,resultinginahazymemory.Thatbeingsaid,herearetheaccountsofthe
fiveaforementionedattacksIregrettablymade(andamfortunatetohavemadeitout
alive)thatarenotinorderofappearance:appealtoflattery,goldenmeanfallacy,ad
hominempsychological,falsedilemma,andfinallystereotyping.Appealtoflattery
involvedstrategy,appealingtothecreaturespridetoconvincehimofmyargument.
GoldenmeanfallacyiswhenIclaimedmypositionwascorrect,becauseitcompromised
myargumentaswellasthecreatures.Suckerpunchedwithadhominemofthe
