English Summer camp Instructor


Pares O Nones Toy Shop- Seville, Spain
Independently ran a one week childs English summer
camp at a local toy store. Managed, entertained, and taught
up to ten children ages 3-9 through interactive games, art
and crafts, and music. Some of the topics we covered were
the countries, animals, food, home and family.

Private In-home English Tutor


While in Spain I tutored students (ages 4-13) in English at
their homes multiple times a week. Worked on
pronunciation, vocabulary and casual conversation.

Fundraised over $25,000 through phone campaigns to
alumni and friends of the University. Used interpersonal
skills to adjust to different personality styles and to build
rapport with strangers and update them on their programs
activities.

In Washington state, created activity plans and activities for
childrens acting classes of up to twenty at a time. Used
games and crafts to build musical and theatrical knowledge
in order to create a final presentation for parents and

Assisted the ESL teacher by working one-on-one with lower level


elementary students. Applied research theories of child acquisition by reading
and recast and saw improvement in both pronunciation and sentence

Tutored professors in academic English in order to pass their


certification exams by creating activities and exercises based on the practice
tests and those from the study textbook.

repertoire. Seminars lasted one full day and included one on resume and

Recruited volunteer students of English to conduct an experimental


class in order to analyze and improve pronunciation. Co-taught student
explicit phonetic functions of language and pronunciation and found an
improvement over the semester in students natural speech and specific word
rhythm.
