Aims : by the end of the lesson the students will be able to:
- use the plural forms of the verb to be in sentences
- write a letter using another one as a model.
Aids: textbook, blackboard, chalk.
Skills: Speaking / Listening / Reading / Writing.
Organization: individual work
Methods: conversation, observation, exercise.
ACTIVITY 1: WARM-UP
Aims: - to get SS involved into the topic;
- to revise the plural for nouns.
PROCEDURE
T asks Ss several questions about weather and their mood.
Chatting in English at the beginning of the lesson, T creates
an English language atmosphere, establishing contact
between her and the SS, and helps SS to feel relax.
Check up: SS read their homework and write it on the
blackboard (if necessary). They had to write the plural for
some nouns.
T makes appreciations and checks Sss pronunciation.
T supervises / supplies error correction.

the sentences there.
Ss are asked to do ex.12/23.
T makes appreciations and checks Sss pronunciation.

Aims: - to scan the text to get precise information;
- to solve some exercises based on a given text;

T reads the letter from page 24 and invites the Ss to read the
text too.

T supervises / supplies error correction.
