Would you be hired for a job as a critical thinker for a special
project in this class, based in you exam result?
In truth, I failed my mid-term exam in philosophy class. However, would I be hired for a
job as a critical thinker for a special project in this class based in my exam result? Before I would
like to answer this question. I want to be make sure about the meaning of this question. One
thing is obvious that is there are jobs available for as a critical thinker and for what? For special
project but what kind of special project? Here is one thing unknown; the type of special project is
not obvious and is a special project for what kind of reasons? Is it for good reasons or not? Now,
things are becoming more interesting based on those two above questions. So, without knowing
the answers of those two questions, how could I predict the chance of getting a job?
In order to predict that, I need to know that who is hiring students as a critical thinker for
a special project? The answer seems obvious that is our instructor. So, what kind of students does
our instructor want to hire as a critical thinker for an unusual project in this class, based in our
exam result? Students exam result could be different than each other, but we are able to divide it
into two section. Students who got 80% or greater than 80% in their mid-term exam belong to
the first section. Students who got more 79% or less than 79% in their mid-term exam belong to
the second section. Therefore, does our teacher want to hire students from first section, second
section or mixed from both two sections?

In the first place, if our educator wants to hire students from the first section. That means
student who got B or more than B in their mid-term exam. Therefore, I have 0% chance to
get a job. That means I would not be hired for a job as a critical thinker for an unknown unusual
project. However, Education is not the learning of facts, but the training of the mind to think
said Albert Einstein, so now I have to think about that if I could have a chance to get a job for
second time, what would I do different next time to get hired?
In the second place, if our instructor wants to hire students from the second section.
Students who got 79% or less than 79% in their mid-term exam. Now, there is a chance to get a
job but how many % of chance to get a job. Now, lets calculate it. Our class have ____ number
of student. Our educator wants to hire ____ number students for a job as a critical thinker. In the
second section, there are ____ number students.

Consequently, I have ______% change to get a job.

In the third place, if constructor wants to hire student from both section. That means all
student have a chance to get a job but each students % of chance will come down. In order to
calculate my chance to get a job, I will use same calculation what I used before. What I only
need to change is the number of students who can hired. So, I have ______% chance to get a job.
In Sum, would I be hired for a job as a critical thinker for a special project in this class,
based in my exam result? I answered for this question in 3 different ways and the answers are
different than each other depends on the section. We cannot solve our problems with the same
thinking we used when we created them-Albert Einstein.
