PART A: Students can use a software like Microsoft movie maker to compile pictures and text about the topic they are given.
Students can gather the pictures and texts from the research they conduct and they can answer the question each standard
addresses. They will be focusing on the content of the assignment and come up with ways for better understanding of the content.
The student will engage in higher order thinking because they are doing what they are not used to.

describe the lives of historical figures in Georgia history. a. Identify the contributions made by these historic figures:
James Oglethorpe, Tomochichi, and Mary Musgrove (founding of Georgia); Sequoyah (development of a Cherokee
alphabet); Jackie Robinson (sports); Martin Luther King, Jr. (civil rights); Jimmy Carter (leadership and human rights).
S2L1. Students will investigate the life cycles of different living organisms. a. Determine
the sequence of the life cycle of common animals in your area: a mammal such as a cat or
dog or classroom pet, a bird such as a chicken, an amphibian such as a frog, and an insect
such as a butterfly.
Brief Description of Learning Experience: Students will be discussing the life cycle of a
butterfly and they will also be putting together a video speaking about Martin Luther King
as a civil rights activist. The lesson will have already been taught in both cases. In depth
conversations will be had and then the students will proceed to produce the audio and
video. The standards stated above will be the central focus. The students will create their
audio and video files with the guidance and help from their teacher. The students in the
class may use these as learning tool since that would be main audience.
Student Engagement/Higher-Order Thinking: The LoTi that best describes this assignment is level 4
because the work is student centered and they will be able to independently gain knowledge and create this chart.
Importance of technology: ? Using technology to complete this is very important because
otherwise, we would not have a suitable means of creating this medium of learning.
Intricacy and detailed organizers would be lacking if we did not have access to technology.
This project would not have been possible without the use of technology because we
cannot record audio or make videos without the use of some technology tools.

Internet Safety and Student Privacy: Briefly discuss some possible issues surrounding internet
