Letter of Reference: Amnah Aloadhib

This letter is in support of the application of Ms. Amnah Alqadhib for graduate studies in the
Special Education. As an Assistant Professor ofspecial Education at Texas A&M University
commerce, I have been fortunate to work with Ms. Alqadhib on a number of occasions and had
her as a student in several of her undergraduat.
In all of my interactions with Ms.
"ou.i.r.
Alqadhib, I have found her to be a knowledgeable and
capable student - one who is sufficiently
self-disciplined to successfully complete graduate level work.

I found Ms. Alqadhib to be responsibre and dedicated to her studies. She completed all
asslgnments comprehensively and within timelines and her work
reflected a depth of
understanding of the subject matter. No problems were noted with punctual
or attendance. In
addition' one of her strong assets v'as her ability to work with her
lellow studenls. ln my
courses' she was required to complete severar group assignments.
on every occasion, her peers
gave her the highest marks. They reported thai she rvas
e-asy to wo.k with ind was a iole model
lor others. I observed her assumed a leadership role in all these assignments.
I would describe
Amnah as a model student.
one of Amnah's strengths was her ability to give interesting and informalive
presentations to the
entire class. In spite of her quiet and gentle nature, when
she stood be'fore the class, her
presentatlons were riveting. Her hard work to be prepared
showed in the expert knowledge she
possessed regardless of the topic and the self-confidence
she disptayed enhanced her credibility
with her peers. I know that these traits will make her a most effective
teacher as well as a
successful master's degree student.

I have spoken to Amnah on several occasions conceming her prof-essional

future. I know that she
is dedicated to teaching and has a passion for teaching
ail children, including those with leamrng
differences.- She has spoken to me of her desire tJ pursue
a graduate degree in the future;
therefore, I believe that she possesses the desire for life'-long
leaming that wiii bode well for her
in her future educational and professional pursuits. I believe that
sie has the capabililies to be
successful
a graduate program in Speciar Education. She is dedicated
to in'p.ouing'ii" I;ue,
.in
ofall people,
including studenls with disabiliries, and supporting each person
to ;e-fuJi; ;ccepred
and contributing members oftheir community. For these reasons,
I am proud to recommend her
to your program.
