To
Whom
It
May
Concern,
I
first
met
Mikayla
Burroughs
during
the
2014
to
2015
academic
year,
when
she
enrolled
in
my
Photography
1
class
at
Merced
High
School.
Over
this
school
year,
I
have
really
been
able
to
see
her
photography
skills
advance.
Mikayla
has
demonstrated
the
ability
to
quickly
understand
and
apply
the
concepts
being
taught.
She
consistently
produces
great
art,
and
works
to
the
best
of
her
ability.
She
is
a
wonderful
student
who
is
truly
committed
to
her
education.
Not
only
is
Mikayla
a
hardworking
student,
but
she
has
also
challenged
herself
with
extracurricular
activities.
For
example,
throughout
high
school
she
has
been
involved
with
Future
Farmers
of
America,
AVID,
and
the
Digital
Media
Club.
Through
these
activities,
she
has
learned
great
teamwork
skills
and
this
has
been
reflective
while
working
in
a
group
setting.
She
is
able
to
express
concepts
clearly
and
consider
others
ideas
when
working
with
others.
Mikayla
plans
on
working
towards
her
Master
Degree
where
she
will
major
in
English
and
minor
in
Biology,
Anthropology,
or
Photography.
I
feel
that
she
definitely
has
the
drive
and
ability
to
achieve
these
goals.
Mikayla
shows
great
work
ethic
in
everything
she
does,
participates
in
extracurricular
activities
and
demonstrates
wonderful
character.
She
is
a
very
creative,
considerate,
and
dedicated
individual.
I
am
certain
that
she
has
the
skills
and
fortitude
to
tackle
the
challenges
of
education
at
the
collegiate
level.
Please
let
me
know
if
I
can
provide
any
further
information.
Sincerely,
Every Bear Counts
