10. Dont need to use any channel file, pile the papers and pin up on
the left side. Follow the image

1.

A projectile is launched from point A with an

initial speed 0 = 30.48 /. Determine the
minimum value of the launch angle for which
the projectile will land at point B. (100 ft/sec
30.48 m/sec, 1 0.3048 m)

2. A projectile is launched from point A with the initial

conditions shown in the figure. Determine the slant
distance s which locates the point B of impact.
Calculate the time of flight t.

3.

Analyze the Truss and Find all Forces and their nature (Tension or Compression).

4. Find the Reaction at Point A and Point B

5. Determine the Resultant of the Force.

6. Determine the reaction at A and B on the over Hanging beam shown in below figure.

7. Find the Forces in all member of the Truss and find whether they are Tensile or Compressive in
nature.

8.

8. What is the value of P in the System shown in below figure , to cause the motion to impend ?
Assume the Pulley is smooth and coefficient of Friction between the other contact surface is 0.2.

9. A ladder of length 4 m weighing 200N is placed against a vertical Wall as shown in the Figure. The
coefficient of Friction between the Wall and the Ladder is 0.2 and between Floor and Ladder is
0.3. The Ladder in addition to its own weight has to support a man weighing 600N at a distance
3m from A.
Calculate the minimum Horizontal Force to be applied at A to prevent Slipping.
