GOALS For students to comprehend and interpret the main ideas behind a short story and
to develop their own ideas from the text.

OBJECTIVES: The student should be able to independently complete the six question
comprehension sheet in fifteen minutes to a standard of 83% (one incorrect response)
The student should be able to complete the newspaper article task for homework, informing
the reader of the six criterions (who, what) ready to present next lesson.

particular attention to the newspaper report. When completing the report, be sure to put Complete worksheet to the best of their
