Sociology Research Survey Project

Directions: You will be creating a survey and administering it to your classmates. This research
project is intended to utilize the knowledge and skills that have been acquired in your semester
of Sociology. This project is to be completed individually, with a partner, or in a group of 3.
STEPS
1. Choose a topic from an area weve covered in class. Make it specific.
a. Culture, Socialization, Dating, Social Inequality, Body Image, Gender, etc.
2. Determine your hypothesis.
a. What do you believe will be the outcome?
3. Create at least 10 questions for your survey. Submit to Questions Google Form.
a. You must include Gender & Age
b. You CANNOT include Name
4. Create a Google Form with approved questions
a. You must share this with Ms. Hoppeinclude commenting ability
5. Collect and analyze data
a. Find correlations and develop conclusion
