If democracy is the goal of Latin American nations,

what does a nation have to do to in order to achieve
this goal?
In order to achieve democracy there is a lot a nation has to do to achieve democracy.
One step is to have a leader that is willing to change with the country to democracy. If a
country has a leader that doesn't want the change that leader will do anything in their
power or control to halt the process as much as they can. Another step that plays a big
role in becoming democratic is realizing that there is going to be a time of hardship. If a
country is making a change as severe as switching the whole style of leadership and
rule, there is going to be times of hardship and confusion. If you have a leader that is
not willing to stick through the rough times and stress, the process will come to a
screeching hault. The people of the government must have to also be willing to put the
time into changing over everything from rules and laws to city layouts and building
plans. One last thing that needs to happen is the higher ups of the country need t
realize that the country is better off by being democratic. By having the people be able
to change things in the government and be able to vote for new leaders not only
improves the government structure but it makes the people happy.
