Topic: Ethics
Lesson Outcomes:
Learners will be able to
1. Understand the basic principle o good business practices and procedures
2. Determine the code of ethics of any business.
3. Value the importance of code of ethics for every business enterprise and its stake
holders
4. Recognise the effect the unethical conduct has to the society at large

Integration with other subjects:


English: The content of this topic need one to be able to understand the language used as
there are special terms to explain the topic.
Prior Knowledge:
The meaning of being principled in a general sense and ethics in general
Good business practice and bad ethical behavior.
Extended Opportunities:
Be able to recognize unethical behavior and non principled business.
Extended Activities:
Come up with an article from a news paper or magazine talking about business that has been
unethical
Context:
The school is situated in the Urban Area, with more than Six Hundred learners from grade R to
grade 12, with an average of plus minus 17 learners in a class. In grade 10 Accounting there
are 14 learners with no special needs.
