6th hour
Philosophy
6. This Theory is really well founded, I can personally relate in a time when this affected me.
I can say this because one time when I had fallen asleep, and it only felt like a minute went
by in real life, but my dream was like a day. This can also be founded in the fact that some
people base off of the circadian rhythm. Lots of people also have dream time that happens,
a dream may take a day or a few hours, either way a passing of time takes place in the
dream and also time continues to march on in the real world. Overall time will continue in
the dream as well in real life, but the dreamtime can be manipulated to the mind.
7. We cannot say otherwise because reality is all based on ones own perception of the
world and is influenced by the amount of information presented in society. For those
dreamers they have been presented with a skewed image of the world in their eyes, thus
they choose the reality that they are more comfortable with. While I cannot say much on
these dreamers i would like to expand on my basis of reality. So as was previously stated,
reality has to do with ones perception and access to knowledge. As an example I would like
to use a hypothetical situation: You have a time machine and travel back to 1600 and take
someone to the present and you ask them about the shape of the Earth, they will say flat,
then you walk up to someone on the street and ask that person, they will say round. I our
reality it is round and in the mans reality it is flat. Now lets say you travel to 2400 and
through some outrageous scientific phenomenon they have discovered that the Earth is
actually Hexagonal. So whos reality is right? How do we perceive the world? Flat, but we
grew up knowing its round until this break through how can we judge what is right and
what is wrong?
9. Yes of course, Breaking the law is the only way to get things changed and for people to
see that stuff can change. One example of this is in the Capitol, one cannot sled on the hill.
But doesn't the hill belong to the people because the government belongs to the people?
And then why cant a child enjoy his/herself while at the Capitol. To change this law many
Interns got children and parents to go sledding on the hill. This law is harmless and should
have been changed and hopefully it will through the act of civil disobedience. Because in
my eyes there is a difference between breaking a law and having no disregard for the law.
Another such time is the Civil Rights movement that displayed the best example of civil
disobedience in human history. And we cannot forget that through the breaking of the these
laws humanity has changed its social norms and broken barriers that would have otherwise
been left.
13. The smallest idea can grow to the point that it will define or destroy you is a statement
that should be used more often. We can take this statement in a hypothetical situation a
small idea is simple, so we must take a simple idea that can be open to interpretation, this
has to be so because each individual personality will change the meaning of this simple
idea. So we will merely take the statement Run Now as we see it in this context it is
already bringing multiple ideas into my mind. Run for me means that i should go and get
ready for a nice 6 mile run or that is should start to pack for track practice. To someone else
it may mean a painful experience that they hate doing and to yet another it may mean that
they should frantically flee and try to escape the country. We have seen that this may

change someones view on how to interpret, but what about taken in context? What if this
idea reaches someone while they are standing on a cliff and they run off? What if this idea
reaches someone who is about to propose? Life as they know it would be altered by the
simple statement of run.
15. It is impossible for ones ideas to ones own. I am not saying this in a pessimistic view,
but more so in a matter of factly way. For starters the second that you speak a language
you have been indoctrinated into that regions culture. Then every thought you have will
derive from the way that you were raised and brought up. This means that everything you
do stems from some prior influence in ones life. Now while a pure own idea is not possible,
it can be said that a individual thought may occur because you have thought of it in an
original way that may have been thought of already. I say this because if i think that a movie
should be made with aquaman and i don't know its already being filmed then that idea is still
my own. The difference between education and indoctrination is that one invokes questions
while the other demands compliance.
16. Yes, i can speak through personal experience on the subject matter. I think that dreams
have to reflect our feelings because they happen in our subconscious thus we must draw
from all of feelings even those that we suppress while conscious. We can see this in the
people that say they saw something disturbing in their dreams that made them change their
ways either for the better or for the worse. whichever way they went they learned something
from their experiences. And most people can attest to how they felt about someone is
reflected in a dream that makes them rethink some part of their life that may have been left
as it was until their own subconscious changed the experience in the dream world so that
the person may consciously change their real world experience. I like to think of it in terms
of the real leader of our lives is the part we dont know and that part communicates itself
through such things as instincts and dreams, but the conscious self is the personality that is
taking commands and experiencing the world to change the subconscious thoughts. Overall
i think of it in a Yin and Yang type deal.,
