Immigration

My topic is immigration I really focused on immigration because many people are going
through the same consequences. Immigration is the movement of people into a country to which
they are not native in order to settle there. Immigrants are motivated to leave their native
countries for a variety of reasons, including a desire for economic prosperity, political issues,
family re-unification, escaping conflict or natural disaster, or simply the wish to change one's
surroundings. They say that the immigration system is broken that too many employers are
working and many immigrants are taking over the jobs. Too many employers game the system
by hiring undocumented workers, and there are 11 million people living in the shadows. Neither
is good for the economy or the country. President Obama is eager to work with both the House
and the Senate on a comprehensive solution to immigration reform, similar to the bipartisan
legislation that passed the Senate in 2013. They also have a new form named DACA for students
and have them to have a good future. Some people dont want immigrants in this country
because they either take jobs away or they dont know English or how to work, in some jobs you
need to have papers in order to work. Families suffer because many immigrants get deported
back to their state and they have families and sometimes they leave their kids behind because
they got deported sometimes they wont be able to see their kid again. Barriers to immigration
come not only in legal form or political form; natural and social barriers to immigration can also
be very powerful. Immigrants when leaving their country also leave everything familiar: their
family, friends, support network, and culture. Sometimes if they commit a crime an immigrant
that doesnt have papers they send them to jail and get deported.
However I had a cousin that got deported and he was in jail for 25 years because he
committed a crime and he is not welcomed in the United States no more because of the crime he
did. Also I had a cousin a few weeks ago where he was living here in California and he did not
have papers he had this work where he would go all the way to Ventura and just worked because
that was the only job he got accepted with no papers, a man told him that there was another job
close to where he lived and he quit the job so a few weeks later they told him that he couldnt
work no more because of his papers he did not have no papers and now he went to Sacramento to
work with his uncle. He has a family so its very though to leave his family behind and make him
go live somewhere else jus for work because he did not have papers. A 2010 European study
suggested that "employers are more likely to be pro-immigration than employees, provided that
immigrants are thought to compete with employees who are already in the country. Or else, when
immigrants are thought to compete with employers rather than employees, employers are more
likely to be anti-immigration than employees.
