Yertle the Turtle
In the story, the main charter is Yertle the Turtle. He believes his throne is
not*high* enough and he doesnt like his rock, which is his throne. He isnt a
happy turtle. He gets the other turtles in the pond to stack themselves so he can get
higher and get a better vantage point. Yertle the Turtle has similar characteristics
when compared to Adolf Hitler. That is why they call him the Hitler of the turtles.
Adolf Hitler was leader of the Nazi Party and Germany. He was also blamed for
contributing to World War II. He is most known for his part in the Holocaust,
specifically being the one who orchestrated it. Hitler didnt let anything stop him
and got what he wanted and got things done the way he wanted them done. He
didnt care what other people thought or who he affected in the process of his
dictatorship.
