Luis León Sánchez sale satisfecho de la Challenge de Mallorca

Luis León Sánchez, que participó en tres etapas de la edición 2010 de la Challenge de
Mallorca, terminó satisfecho la prueba mallorquina que se acabó hoy con motivo del
Trofeo Magaluf-Palmanova, donde el esprínter alemán André Greipel se anotó la
victoria.

“La diferencia de temperatura entre Australia y Mallorca ha sido radical pero a

pesar de eso me encontré bien en las tres etapas en que tomó parte”, explicó Luis
León Sánchez después de acabarse la etapa en que su compañero de equipo José
Joaquín Rojas cruzó la línea de meta en cuarta posición. “Claro que mis sensaciones
no eran tan buenas como en Australia pero las he ido recuperando poco a poco a
medida que pasaban los días y la verdad es que estoy muy contento por mi
actuación en la prueba mallorquina. El tiempo ha sido muy malo, con frio, lluvia y
hasta granizo pero me he sentido cada día mejor y ahora estoy con muchas ganas
de disputar la Vuelta al Algarve. Vamos a ir con un equipo muy competitivo y
espero que lograremos buenos resultados en tierras lusas.”

Luis León Sánchez satisfied after the Challenge of Mallorca

Luis León Sánchez, who took part in three stages of the 2010 edition of the Challenge
of Mallorca was very satisfied at the end of the event which finished today on the
occasion of the Magaluf-Palmanova Trophy, where German sprinter André Greipel
resulted to be the faster.

“The difference of temperature between Australia and Mallorca was terrible but I
all the same felt rather well in the three stages in which I took part”, explained Luis
León Sánchez after the finish of the stage in which team-mate José Joaquín Rojas
finished the fourth. “It is obvious that my sensations were not as good as they were
in Australia but I felt every day better and I am very happy with what I achieved in
Mallorca. The weather has been awful almost all the time. It was cold, rainy and
snowing a little bit sometimes but I nevertheless improved every day and now i am
very motivated to go to the Tour of Algarve. We will go there with a very strong
team and I hope that we will get good results in Portugal.”

Luis León Sánchez, qui a participé à trois étapes de l’édition 2010 du Challenge de
Majorque, a terminé satisfait la course des Baléares qui s’est terminée aujourd’hui à
l’occasion du Trophée Magaluf-Palmanova, qui a vu la victoire du sprinter allemand.

“La différence de température entre l’Australie et Majorque a été radicale mais

malgré cela, je me suis senti bien tout au long des trois étapes auxquelles j’ai pris
part”, a expliqué Luis León Sánchez après l’étape où son coéquipier José Joaquín
Rojas a franchi la ligne d’arrivée en quatrième position. “C’est sûr que mes
sensations n’étaient pas aussi bonnes qu’elles l’étaient en Australie mais je les ai
peu à peu récupérées au fur et à mesure que passaient les jours et je dois avouer
que je suis très content de ce que j’ai réalisé pendant cette épreuve. La météo a
vraiment été exécrable. En effet, froid, pluie et même un peu de neige étaient au
programme et malgré cela je me suis senti de mieux en mieux. J’ai maintenant hâte
qu’arrive le Tour d’Algarve. Nous nous présenterons au départ avec une équipe très
compétitive et j’espère que nous y obtiendrons de bons résultats.”
