Intro: The question of role division is a challenging one for government. There has been heated debate
about whether woman could fulfill their familys role and social role quite well. There are two reasons
that could greatly demonstrate womans role in both of familys role and social role.
Body 1: To begin with women are likely to fill out their household management as well as social role.
Like the opposite-sex, female have the right to pursue their time working, focusing on their aims in life.
They also have ambitions and desire to fulfill them whenever possible. Moreover, it must be understood
that women in a modern society should be independent of finance. Many people say that men are
breadwinner as stereotype, but nowadays female also have abilities to earn money with professional
knowledge and social skills as men counterparts. Once they have position in society, they will open their
mind, view along with experiences in child-rearing. After all, when women have chance to take part in
social activities, they can bring children up in family properly.
Body 2: It is impossible to argue against the fact that women spend fewer hour doing household chore
thanks to technology. A good example is household goods: cooker, washing machine, microwave oven,
duster which help women do chores quickly. Moreover, women who are busy can employ maid to do
apart of household management.
(Counter-argument) Opponent of this view say women should be at home and completely take care their
family due to women have just wasted much time when join outside activities. (Transition + refutation)
There are some faults with this reasoning, however, it cannot deny great womens role at home but they
can also identify themselves in other fields by taking social activities.
Conclusion: To sum up, its obviously clear that women could play well in both of domestic chores and
social activities. As a result, from Sex discrimination Act, womens rights are more increased and balance
than old counterparts before. Therefore, women not only make their home happier but also affirm their
position well in the modern life.
