Admissions open for B.Arch course

On May 27, MARG Institute of Design and Architecture,
Swarnabhoomi (MIDAS) affiliated to Anna University, Chennai and
approved by Council of Architecture (COA) New Delhi opened
admissions for Bachelor Degree in Architecture (B.Arch) 2015 batch.
Admission for the course is open to all Indians (provided the
applicant fulfills the minimum eligibility requirements for admission
as per Council of Architecture, New Delhi, and Anna University,
Chennai). The eligibility criteria for selection as per norms of Council
of Architecture and the Anna University include Higher Secondary
or e year Government Recognised Diploma with 50% aggregate

While delivering the presidential address in the ceremony, he gave special tribute to Thiruvallur District
Team under 12 who won the Iqbal Trophy. It was orgasised by AVM Cricket Academy. He said that
Thiruvallur District Team is the best in the upcoming area and their players have bright future. He
emphasised that the fielding pattern in the IPL Tournament was outstanding and the youngsters should
emulate the fielding aspects of the IPL players. Miss.Priya from Pudhiya Thalaimurai Channel delivered
the key-note address and she was amazed to see young boys (under 12) plays such high level cricket. She
said that the atmosphere during final overs of the match was electrifying and there was good encouragement to the young players from the reasonable crowd assembled in the ground. She appreciated AVM
Cricket Academy for organising the tournament to encourage the budding talents. Mr.Sadiq Basha also
spoke on the occasion. Uma Maheswar gave vote of thanks.
