Overview

What is an Action Plan?

Students are to create an Action Plan. The purpose of the action


plan is to formulate a procedure on changing/ adapting a school
rule. The amended rule is something that the students feel
passionately about.

An action plan is a document


that lists what steps must be
taken in order to achieve a
specific goal.

Objectives

Research Methodologies

Plan a proposal to suggest an amendment to a school rule.

Interviews

Students will develop a specific strategy to achieve their goal.

Focus Groups

Students will identify the steps involved in brining about change

Literature Review

The must include a use of at least 3 research methodologies in


the plan.

*Please not some students on consultation with teacher will only


need to include 2 methodologies
Students need to include evidence and research about why they
think their amendment should be adopted.
Students must also include the criticisms and hesitations
surrounding changing a school rule and who they will attempt to
address them.

Remember
The plan needs to be realistic and achievable.

Journal Entries- 3 (200 words each)
Remember to formulate a short speech for presentation of
overview of your action plan for the Vice Principal.

and change. Also one entry
needs to a reflection on the
