Staples Inc. (NASDAQ: SPLS) is a large office supply chain store. Staples Inc sells supplies,
office machines, promotional products, furniture, technology and business services both in stores
and online.
The Staples Supply Chain comprises of different applications Warehouse Management
(PkMS), Shipment Management, PO Management, Retail Distribution, Replenishment
application, Stream serve.
The Warehouse Management System (PkMS) is a part of the Supply Chain which involves the
maintenance, packing and delivery of goods from the warehouse, to the associated hub. This
project is for the maintenance and enhancement of the Staples PkMS project which involves
various applications like Order bridge process for different orders like staples direct/contract
order and Quill/CE order, Wave run process, Wrap & Label Processing, DNR/RSI process,
Pick/Pack/Loading/Shipping of orders, BOH issues, and PLD process. Also provides production
support for these applications.
This project is for the entire End-to-End Support, Maintenance and Enhancement of the
application. The project follows the onsite-offshore model, and complete end-to-end support,
which means the enhancement requested by clients will be worked on from offshore in coordination with onsite. The project includes analysis and solution proposition of service requests
raised by business users.

Offshore lead of Warehouse Management - US (PkMS).

Responsibility for complete End-to-End Production Support & Maintenance, Enhancement,
Bug fix from Offshore with co-ordination from Onsite.
Requirement Analysis of new developments & Design document preparation.
Coding (involves development, enhancement, and bug-fix).

End-to-End testing of PkMS application regarding 6DSE change.
First ever End-to-End UAT testing project from Staples for Cognizant.

Offshore lead of the Project team.

Responsibility for Contract/Direct Order creation in OMS server and Order drop into PkMS.
Complete End-to-End testing of the PkMS Application analysing the flow of order processing
and impact of 6DSE change.
Preparation all possible Test Case Scenarios in coordination with Client.
