Step 2 - Professional Growth Action Plan


Activities

Proposed Evidence

What specific growth activities will you engage in to


obtain the identified new learning? The activities should
focus on both the content knowledge you acquire as well
as the skills you develop.

Briefly describe the evidence that you will collect. Evidence


may include areas beyond test scores such as attendance
rates, discipline referrals, programs implemented, and other
P-12 student or adult data.

1) I will research creative ways to assess students,


as well as test my hand at creating my own
assessments based on my own unique class and
their needs.
2) I will observe more experienced teachers and
gain new techniques based on their methods of
classroom management.

1) I will keep a running record of which types of


assessments have proven to be successful and
which have not made such an impact.
2) I will implement at least one of the new techniques
that I have observed and write about how it worked/
did not work in an ongoing journal.

3) I will get ideas from my teaching team, as well as


research successful teaching methods in other
schools, states, etc
