Context of the lesson
This lesson is the fourth lesson of GameSalad program. In this lesson the learners will start
create new game called whack a monster by themselves through following the steps that
they learned.
Teaching goal
The overall aim of the lesson is to test students understanding through giving them a project.
Learning objectives
By the end of the lesson. Students will be able to:
Design whack a monster game
Create the scenes of the game
Adding the software applications
Adding score to calculate the points
Publishing the game
Assumptions about prior learning
The learners know how to use the program so, they are able to use it by themselves to create
new game.
Anticipated problems and possible solutions
Some students will find difficulties in applying some of the steps like adding the software
applications to the scenes of the game so, I need to make sure that everyone is doing the
steps step by step.
Students might feel confused so, I have to make sure that everyone is on track and applying.
Personal focus for this lesson
Letting students try to apply the steps by themselves before the explanation and then teacher
will correct it for them.
Avoid teacher centered and focus more on letting the learners learn by doing, monitor
children more closely.

Warming up: Introducing the lesson (drawing)


T will start the lesson by a warming up game. In this game T will
use the balloons to find the title.
Each group will have a balloon and they have to stand in a circle.
Teacher will make the learners to hold their hands and throw the
balloon up and they have to protect the balloon from failing down.
Inside each balloon there is a part of the lessons title. The first
group who will lose will blow their balloon and the second loser
will do the same until the last group. After that the groups leaders
will gather to order the title of the lesson whack a monster.
Reviewing and Explaining the lesson
T will introduce the learners to their project and explaining what
the game will be about.
T will give each students the projects sheet and explain the steps
for them
Twill make sure that everyone understand the project.
Applying the steps
T will ask the learners to start creating their game by following the
steps on their sheet.
T will walk around the students to support them
After creating the whole scenes of the game teacher will stop the
learners and let them play small game
In this game teacher will write a word on a piece of paper and will
stick it on one of the students head that she cannot see the word
The other students job is to explain the word and the girl who has
the word have to say it.
