Context of the lesson
This lesson is the fourth lesson of GameSalad program. In this lesson the learners will start
create new game called whack a monster by themselves through following the steps that
they learned.
Teaching goal
The overall aim of the lesson is to test students understanding through giving them a project.
Learning objectives
By the end of the lesson. Students will be able to:
Design whack a monster game
Create the scenes of the game
Adding the software applications
Adding score to calculate the points
Publishing the game
Assumptions about prior learning
The learners know how to use the program so, they are able to use it by themselves to create
new game.
Anticipated problems and possible solutions
Some students will find difficulties in applying some of the steps like adding the software
applications to the scenes of the game so, I need to make sure that everyone is doing the
steps step by step.
Students might feel confused so, I have to make sure that everyone is on track and applying.
Personal focus for this lesson
Letting students try to apply the steps by themselves before the explanation and then teacher
will correct it for them.
Avoid teacher centered and focus more on letting the learners learn by doing, monitor
children more closely.
