BAWA Fees and Rates (2014)

The Bambui Water Authority (BAWA) charges users a connection fee to be able to access water and
an annual maintenance levy to help cover the costs of BAWAs operations and maintenance of the
water supply network in Bambui.

Private Connections:
Applicants who have fulfilled all the requirements 50,000 CFA
(contribute to the construction phase of the project in
addition to other BACUDA development projects)
Applicants who never contributed in the construction 75,000 CFA
phase but can show proof of contributing yearly to
BACUDA
Indigenes and other applicants including missionary 150,000 CFA
organisations who did neither of the above

The Bambui Fons palace, third class chiefs and primary Free connections
schools (Government & mission)
and water

Applicants wishing to carry out connections for commercial 300,000 CFA


purposes (hostels, hotels etc.)

Administrative charges
Connection fee of 50,000 to 150,000 frs

11,500 CFA

Connection fee over 150,000 up to 300,000 frs

16,500 CFA
