The purpose of this letter is to disclose the fact that Ms. Andrea Borchardt-Gardner is
currently involved in a romantic relationship with AUSA Michael Ambrosino, Special Counsel
for DNA at the United States Attorneys Office in Washington D.C.
Ms. Andrea
Borchardt-Gardner was not in a romantic relationship with AUSA Ambrosino at the time the
DNA was tested and analyzed in this case, but did know him in a professional capacity at that
time.
AUSA Ambrosino has not consulted with the analysts at Bode regarding their results or
analysis in this case.
