Thank you for contacting me to relate your support for legislation that would prohibit the practice of male
circumcision in Pennsylvania. I appreciate your interest in this issue, and I understand your objection to this
procedure.
I am unaware of any legislation that would change Pennsylvania law with regard to male circumcision, but I
realize that this procedure is becoming less common across the country. I assure you that I will keep your
support for a change to our law in mind if any legislation on this issue should come before me.
