District College and Career/AVID District Director
Nacogdoches Independent School District, Nacogdoches, Tx.

July 2012 to present

Administrative duties include District Director for the NISD AVID system. STEM
program coordinator in ongoing partnership with Stephen F. Austin State University.
Lead the community action team for the development of Nacogdoches ISD Technical
Training Center curriculum and program offerings. Assisted in the development of the
ECHS implementation plan, tutorials and mentor program. SFASU ECHS Council and
chair of the SFASU ECHS Student Support Committee.
Responsibilities include professional development for all campus principals and staff, as
well as all college and career outreach including; The Mobile Go Center, P16 council,

Middle school RtI facilitator, Nacogdoches Chamber Education committee, TG Financial


Literacy program, development and implementation of WIN College readiness system

Assistant Principal
Palacios Junior High School, Palacios TX.

July 2010 to June 2012

Administrative roles included campus leadership as well as student management, and


campus coordinator for District Academic UIL.
Additional duties included attendance committee chair for all grade levels,
implementation of CSCOPE and new state assessment standards, and campus 504
coordinator.

College Readiness/Tech Prep Coordinator


Trinity Valley Community College, Athens, TX.

August 2008-July 2010

Administrative duties included serving as liaison between instructional planning


components of TVCC and public schools in order to support highly successful P-16
partnerships. Served as coordinator for the ECHS at TVCC. Represent TVCC as the
College Readiness Special Advisor to the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board.
Responsible for anticipating and meeting the data needs for dual credit programming and
other innovative partnerships between TVCC and local Independent School Districts.

Director of Teacher Education

Administrative responsibilities, Provide Leadership for the enhancement and


implementation of the Teacher Education program offered in conjunction with
articulation agreements with Kansas State University, Ft. Hayes State University, and
Newman University.
Additional Responsibilities, facilitating and planning of the Leadership Institute: Kansas
Future Teacher Academy, student recruitment, and retention through engaging local
school districts future teacher organizations and actively recruiting western Kansas, direct
supervision of pre-service teachers for Newman University.
Implemented a new course designed to introduce the student to the various classifications
of special education. Successfully expanded the DCCC Education program enrollment by
50%, through local and statewide recruitment.
