Why do we use 6/7 Man


Pressure?

Places stress on the Offensive Protection


Offense is forced to keep RB in the
backfield
QB has very little time to get the ball off
Attack protections/weak pass blockers
Great for run and pass downs
As long as you understand the concept,
you can send any six or seven players you
want, ie. Variety
Its one of the reasons why you run a 3-4!!!

Zero Coverage
1. You will ensure that the #1 and #2 receivers are
covered
2. You will Spy the RB for release based on Blitz
called

CBs will cover #1s, Safeties will cover #2s, LBs/DL will
account for #3

Stance- Two-point stance head-up 2-gapping on the


man in front of you
Attack the man in front of you read pass run
Run- react to the ball carrier
Pass- If your man blocks you, drop to help w/ nearest
pass threat
If your man does not block, rush the QB through the
RB
