inhabitants of the Continent were gnomes
1,500 years before the main events in the books, the Conjunction of the
Spheres
Hundreds of years later elves arrived in their white ships
Emergence of the goddess worship in the form of Melitele, one of the
oldest, and most widespread systems of beliefs
More than 500 years before the main events in the books, the necropolis at
Fen Carn is created

611 Foundation of Coran Agh Tera cult in Geso. It spreads quickly and
becomes popular cult even among nobility greatly chalenging the cult of
father god Kreve.

760s Edit

The First Landing and settlement by humans

Reigns of Dezmod of Temeria, Radovid of Redania and Sambuk of Eastern
Lands begin more or less simultaneously
Jan Bekker first Nordling and one of first human mages. Subjects force to his
will causing conflict with southern human mages. Spread of magic use among
humans.
The Novigradan Union is formed between mages Jan Bekker as
representative of the Nordlings, Geoffrey Monck as representative of Middle
Kingdoms, and Giambattista as representative of southrons. This became the
start of charter of wizards and stopped their internal conflict. Ivo Richert also
joined them soon and they started publishing books.

840 Edit

Emiel Regis Rohellec Terzieff-Godefroy, high vampire and friend of Geralt,

is born

1130 Torres is the first known Nilfgaardian emperor. to signify start of his
reign he builds artificial pond in niilfgard in which middle he puts a golden
carp.

1161 Edit

A merchant named Abrosio in Loredo and eight other worshippers found

the Coram Agh Tera cult. Burned at the stake and banished by Kreve cult and
Nilfgaardians. Cult secretly spreads in cells as far as northern kingdoms.

1173 Edit

Yennefer of Vengerberg is born

1216 Edit

Calanthe, Ciri's grandmother is born

1234 Edit

Peter Evertsen is born

Roegner of Ebbing is saved from death by Duny, going by the name

"Urcheon of Erlenwald", who invokes the Law of Surprise as his payment
Pavetta, Roegner's daughter and eventually Ciri's mother, is born

Windhalm of Attre is born

1239 Edit

The beginning of the Northern Wars. Nilfgaard starts pushing north into
Nazair and Mettina. Conquest of Ebbing is precitipating event of the wars.
Geso was conqered long ago and probably Maecht as well.
Houvenaghel is born

1250 Edit

Roegner of Ebbing dies

The short story "A Question of Price" takes place
Duny and Pavetta, Ciri's parents are married
Eist Tuirseach and Calanthe are married

1251 Edit

Princess Cirilla Fiona Elen Riannon of Cintra is born. She is better known as
Ciri or the Lion Cub of Cintra

1262 Edit

July - The Nilfgaardian Empire invades the Northern Kingdoms

Battle of Marnadal Eist Tuirseach is killed during the battle.
Slaughter of Cintra
Calanthe, Ciri's grandmother, commits suicide rather than surrendering to
the Nilfgaardians.
Battle of Sodden Hill

1264 Edit

Vizimir, Meve, Foltest, Demawend and Henselt meet secretly at Hagge

1265 Edit

The date given in the first game for the Battle of Brenna, in the saga it is
dated 1268.

First outbreak of plague

Battle of Brenna takes place

Nilfgaard Wars end

Peace of Cintra, April 2 a treaty ending the Nilfgaard wars, is signed
September 25 Geralt of Rivia is apparently killed by an angry peasant
mob, with Yennefer apparently dying while trying to heal him. Their bodies
are never found, having been taken away by Ciri to the Isle of Avalon to
recover.

1269 Edit

The Wild Hunt find Geralt and Yennefer in Avalon, abducting Yennefer in
order to draw Ciri out of hiding. Geralt proceeds to pursue the Wild Hunt
across the land through sheer force of will.
September 13 Geralt is at the Ravine of the Hydra, pursuing the Wild
Hunt
November 23 Geralt is at the village of Coldwater in Cintra, pursuing the
Wild Hunt

1270 Edit

February 24 Geralt is in the Armush Mountains, pursuing the Wild Hunt

May 30 Geralt is at the Yaruga River, pursuing the Wild Hunt
July 25 Geralt first meets Letho in the forests of Angren while pursuing
the Wild Hunt in search of Yennefer
Geralt and his witcher hanse find the Wild Hunt, with Geralt trading himself
for Yennefer's freedom.
Ciri helps Geralt escape from the Wild Hunt. Half-naked and with a case of
amnesia, Geralt is found by his comrades from the Wolf School near Kaer
Morhen.
Date given by the narrator in the introduction to the original game. That
date is not in line with the book timeline based on the mention that the game
takes place five years after the Nilfgaard Wars unlike the two years in the
game series.

The Witcher computer game takes place.

Battle at Kaer Morhen between the witchers and Salamandra.
