A DESCRIPTIVE TEXT EXAMPLE - MY HOUSE

I live in a small house. It has five rooms: there are two bedrooms, a living
room, a bathroom, and a kitchen. Indeed it is a small house; but I like living
in here for wasting my spare time.
When the door is open, I can see the living room. It is so small with only
three chairs and a table, nothing else. I prefer reading a novel in this room.
My bedroom is in the left side of the living room. In this room there is a
night table next to the bed, a TV, a radio, and a computer. When being bored
of reading, I usually play online games, chat with my friends via Facebook
and so on.
Next to my bedroom is my mother's. I do not know what is inside because I
never come in to see it. In the right side of the living room there is the
kitchen. In the kitchen I have everything I need when I get hungry. It is very
pleasure when my mother cooks, the smell fills my whole house.
I know it is a very small house; but it is the best place I have ever seen.

Saya tinggal di sebuah rumah kecil. Ini memiliki lima kamar: ada dua kamar
tidur, ruang tamu, kamar mandi, dan dapur. Memang itu adalah rumah kecil;
tapi aku suka tinggal di sini untuk membuang-buang waktu luang saya.
Ketika pintu terbuka, aku bisa melihat ruang tamu. Hal ini sangat kecil
dengan hanya tiga kursi dan meja, tidak ada yang lain. Saya lebih suka
membaca novel di ruangan ini.
Kamarku berada di sisi kiri ruang tamu. Di ruangan ini ada meja malam di
samping tempat tidur, TV, radio, dan komputer. Ketika sedang bosan
membaca, saya biasanya bermain game online, chatting dengan temanteman melalui Facebook dan sebagainya.

Sebelah kamar tidur saya adalah ibu saya. Aku tidak tahu apa yang ada
dalam karena saya tidak pernah datang untuk melihatnya. Di sisi kanan
ruang tamu ada dapur. Di dapur saya memiliki semua yang saya butuhkan
ketika saya mendapatkan lapar. Hal ini sangat senang ketika ibuku
memasak, bau mengisi seluruh rumah saya.
Aku tahu itu adalah sebuah rumah yang sangat kecil; tetapi itu adalah
tempat terbaik yang pernah saya lihat.

My House
My house is located in Pattimura Street 09, Kota Baru. My house has a land area of 1500
m2 and a building area only 300 m2. There are several rooms in my house. They are a
living room, a family room, kitchen and bathroom, three bedrooms and a warehouse.
The first room is the living room. Living room is used to approve the guests who come to my
house. In which there is some furniture including sofas, desks, and framed photos on the
wall and lavender flowers on the pot. My living room is colored green and it looks so calm
when you see it for many times. I love this living room because the decoration is chosen by
myself.
The second room is a family room. Family room is the most spacious room in my house.
We usually use the family room to gather while watching television. In the living room there
are television, chairs, tables, and an aquarium. That is a big television, so when we sit
together in front of it, we can see the movie clearly. Furthermore, we usually turn the light on
when we want to see a horror movie and it is like watching in the real cinema.
Actually, I dont like the chairs and the table in the family room, because it spends the space
more and there is a less space for us to sit on the floor. How about my aquarium? This is
the thing that I love so much. That aquarium was bought by my own money and I fill it with
some fishes like lohan and arwana. Those fishes are so cute when they are grown up.
Also, the family room is used for me to do a lot of works. In this room, there is a computer
which has been a long time. May be my father will buy a new computer this year, I hope for
it.

We have a large kitchen, including a dinning room. There is also a bathroom near the
kitchen. I have three bedrooms in my house. The first room is my sisters room. It is closeset to the living room. The second room is my parents room, and last room is mine. My
parents room is bigger than mine and there is a big bed includes TV and sound system for
my father. He usually listens to the music and country is his favorite genre of music. My
room is located in the corner of house. My room is completed by some furnitures and there
are some big pictures on the wall. Most of the pictures are the football players such as
Cristiano Ronaldo and Steven Gerrard.
Thats my home, the small and quiet place that I love.

Rumahku
Rumah saya terletak di Jalan Pattimura 09, Kota Baru. Rumah saya memiliki lahan seluas
1.500 m2 dan luas bangunan 300 m2 hanya. Ada beberapa kamar di rumah saya. Mereka
adalah ruang tamu, ruang keluarga, dapur dan kamar mandi, tiga kamar tidur dan gudang.
Ruang pertama adalah ruang tamu. Ruang tamu digunakan untuk menyetujui tamu yang
datang ke rumah saya. Di mana ada beberapa perabot termasuk sofa, meja, dan foto
berbingkai di dinding dan lavender bunga di pot. Ruang tamu saya berwarna hijau dan

Well, do you want to know my LOVELY HOUSE? My house at Jl. Teuku Umar
D no.3 Bangkalan. My house is the place where i can relax and find our own
space.
My house is not big, but very cozy. Model of my house is minimalist. The
shape like box and square. thats very simple. My house has full colour, like
green, white, black, because I love colou. In my house, there is a terrace
with some flowers and some plants, there is a living room, dining room,
there are three bedroom, there is a bathroom, a kitchen, and a garage. And
my favourite room is my bedroom, because I can do anything there, I can
dialogue with my little sister and my family, wacthing TV, studying, doing my
homework, playing, and sleeping. I like my bedroom so much eventhough it
is not big but it is very comfortable to me. My houseis inhibited by five

bersantai dan menemukan ruang kita sendiri.
Rumah saya tidak besar, tetapi sangat nyaman. Model rumah saya
minimalis. Bentuk seperti kotak dan persegi. itu sangat sederhana. Rumah
saya memiliki penuh warna, seperti hijau, putih, hitam, karena saya
