Greetings!
The undersigned is an incumbent member of the Sangguniang Panlungsod of the City of
Kidapawan, assigned as the Chairman of the Committee on Agriculture, Livelihood and
Cooperatives and of the Committee on Moro and Tribal Affairs.
I am writing in behalf of the Kidapawan City Cacao Growers and Producers Inc., to express
our intention of asking for assistance from your office for the said association. Especially
that on the month of July, Cacao Summit will commence and there will be different
programs to be conducted. We strongly believe that we can build partnership as we
pursue in the establishment of our mission and vision.
Our confidence is founded in the faith that we are competitive enough to join the
continuing increase in the demand of Cacao production not just in our locality but across
the globe. This is the reason we pursued in the making of Kidapawan City Cacao Growers
and Producers Inc. last ________________. It has been granted with registration
no:________________ bonded in the guidelines and policies of Securities and Exchange
Commission. Consequently, it has been accredited as member of the Local Special Bodies
of the City of Kidapawan, per Resolution No. ____________ dated ________________ . And to
deepen our commitment to our vision, we complied with the requirements for provincial
accreditation and submitted it in the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of the Province of
Cotabato just recently, with fingers crossed, we believe that we can go province wide.
Today we continue to challenge fellow farmers to empower cacao production by
convincing and urging them to plant more. I for myself have reserve a total land area of
five (5) hectares planted with cacao and have a very well performing cacao nursery. I
continue to show them my support and confidence through consistent management of
my own farm, to show inspiration and motivation. In fact, we are eighty percent (80%)
done in organizing the Cacao growers in the forty (40) barangays of Kidapawan City.
Thus, they will form the City's Cacao Federation Association.
We hope that as positive as I am, we will put our hands together and bring in the reality
this futuristic development.
