Green program Participant

A leadership, educational, and hands on program dealing with sustainability and use of renewable energy technology such as geothermal,
hydropower, and wind powered plants in Iceland at the University of Reykjavk. I received a first hand look at the impacts of these
renewable resources and how they operate at an industrial and economic level. The program consisted of classes as well as a capstone
group project. The capstone project involved exploring a collaborative theoretical idea for creating underground wind tunnel systems in
cities to power an electric generator. We then presented our ideas to all of the other participants in the program as well as faculty at the
University of Reykjavk and the green program staff.

I have completed courses involving collecting and analyzing data in several fields such as soil science, ground/ stream water, and
