A lesson plan varies according to
subject
Purposes
To help teachers plan and organize
the lesson
To help teachers keep a record of the
work done
To guide teachers during instruction

Parts of a Lesson Plan


A lesson plan should contain four main
elements:
The objectives of the lesson, and the
intended learning outcome
The contents of the lesson
The methods of organizing the
content and the activities
The conclusion and follow-up
activities

Activity one (Introduction)
1. Teacher asks students the
common questions that they
ask when they want to know
the details of a person.
2. Students respond to the
teacher. Teacher writes the
questions on the blackboard.
3. Teacher informs the students
the topic of the lesson.
