One of my mentors used to stay in a village of Punjab.

He was very famous because

of his expertise in playing the most happening card game, seep. During the
marriage of one distant relative he was challenged for the game, which he won
superbly. Coupled with the fact that he had been photographed for the first time, it
was a real good time.
When he descended from the train next morning at a station near to his village, he
was so excited. He wanted to share the good news and show his photograph to
everyone. The only recurrent thought is, where should I go first? May be to Ramus
shop, may be to the temple where there would be many people. Then all of a
sudden he remembered the Choupal, the place under a banyan tree, where all
people used to gather all the time for chit chat and playing cards. The place was
visited by old, young and the kids.

My friend Ali was a very good chess player. He used to stay in the city for his higher
education, and used to come to the village once in a while. Once he won the
prestigious chess trophy and his photo was published in the college magazine.
He was coming to the village in summer break. He was so excited and was making
serial plans, how he would share with everyone the stories of last six months and
also show his photograph in the magazine. The excitement made him to make a
decision that first he would go the Choupal and then to his home. Choupal was
the place under a banyan tree, where all people used to gather all the time for chit
chat and playing cards. The place was visited by old, young and the kids.
The excitement building, he went directly to the place and was greeted by all sitting
there. Many could actually sense some news by his walk and happy glowing face.
He greeted everyone and then the moment came when he showed his photograph
with the trophy to everybody. People were so happy, that a boy from the village has
brought laurels and joy to the village. Then came the Sarpanch of the village and
Sarpanchs best friend Suraj. On hearing the news from the gathering, Sarpanch
became so happy that he wanted to reward Ali. Suraj, the Sarpanchs friend wanted
to show the magazine to the parents of the kids in his village. Tenali Raja came with
a solution, which brought smiles to all: We can make two copies
