FROM REGISTERATION OF MEMBERSHIP TO TAKING THE

CIA EXAM

1: First, you should get yourself registered for Institute of Internal Auditors'
Membership. Before 2014, Pakistani students could register through IIA's
Chapters located in KARACHI, LAHORE, ISLAMABAD. But now, IIA has
canceled these chapters as authentic. Now you have to become a "MEMBER
AT LARGE". Open the URL "www.theiia.org" and search the TAB "Become a
Member" on the upper right panel.
2: After becoming a member, they will issue you a member ID and a
Password, use these to create a profile in this IIA's website. Now as you have
become a member, you can use the IIA's study material available on this
website as well as you will be offered the lower rates for CIA exam.
3: Locate a TAB " ACCESS to CCMS" and click. Now click on the new user and
create your profile here.
4: Open another URL "www.pearsonvue.com/iia" and create another profile
here.
5: Now search another TAB named "DOCUMENT UPLOAD PORTAL" in the IIA's
website. Upload all of your documents here that are required by the EXAM.
6: Now open your CCMS profile you created in the previous step, you will see
the available exams offered by IIA that you can take.
7: Select your desired exam i.e. CIA and pay the one time registration fee.
8: After you application submission, IIA examination body reviews your
documents, If they finds you eligible for the exam, a verification email will be
sent to you.
9: After that mail, you will find CIA Papers available in you CCMS screen.
10: Select your desired paper i.e. 1 or 2 or 3 or all, pay the fee, receive a
verification email in your email id, set the date for the exam through the
www.pearsonvue.com/iia and get ready for the exam.
