Submission dates: 29th October 2012 (during the class) Students will be given a journal and they need to find another two or more journals which can be related or unrelated topics to the provided journal. It is optional but the more journals used are better for your report. Each group needs to write three pages of critical review on those journals (excludes front-page and references list). Front-page and references list should be started on the new pages. So each group needs to submit five pages of the full report for critical reviews. Besides, you need to submit the plagiarism report (TurnitinUK) for the critical review together. Objectives; To ensure that students can practice how to citing and referencing properly for their report, thus they can avoid the acts of plagiarism. Besides, students can experience in writing good reviews for their future assignments and reports. Important notes; 1. Students can skip the theoretical part in the journals but do focus on what, why and how viewpoints 2. Do not write a common comparison review that focuses only on the strength and weakness of the journals. You have to analytically discuss the arguments in those journals which means, you are required to have a basic knowledge on that topic. 3. The format; a. Font: Tahoma b. Font Size: 11 c. Spacing: 1.5 between the lines and 2.0 between the paragraphs d. Justify your paragraphs 4. Citing and referencing standard is provided 5.
