Unit Summary

Our Unit Plan consist of Reading, Health and Science, all based on nutrition. The students will
be gaining basic knowledge of the main food groups and how the body digest foods. They will
be doing hands on activities as well as working in groups.

Student Assessment

Reading Worksheets will be graded for correctness. Children will be given bonus points for
demonstrating knowledge during the end of class discussion.
Health- Students will turn in their one page papers and they will be graded by the rubric.
Science Students will be graded on their pictures and data collected from their activity and
the results they post on the class blog.
