Wildlife for Sale

Philippines have a very diverse wildlife. Biodiversity is the key element

of the earths biosphere. Earth depends on biodiversity and other non-living
objects. This is why the preservation and maintenance of the earths
biodiversity is highly important.

Because the Philippines have a diverse wildlife, some people starts to

illegally trade or sell some of the animals that we have in our country. Even
though they know that is illegal they still do it because they need the money,
but what they dont know is that some of those animals are already extinct
and needs to be protected so that they can still have the chance to
reproduce. The documentary that we watched showed how people are
overusing their power. They killed plenty of animals so that they can sell
them to the black market. Some of the animals are killed to be used as
decorations; some took the skin to be used as coats or leather bags and
wallets. We are created by God to protect the animals not hurt them.

It made me realize how cruel the world is. We should start making an
advocacy to help the animals because they cannot protect themselves. If the
problem is that they dont have enough funds to help them, we should
encourage the people to donate money. If the government cannot do
something, we can do something.
