Why should drama be taught in ESL

Classroom?
Stimulate creativity in problem solving
Challenge students perceptions about their world and
about themselves.
Give the students a chance to explore a new role, try
out and experiment with various personal choices and
solution to very real problem.
Allow students to communicate and understands others
in new way.
Help students to develop tolerance and empathy.
Drama can be used to promote active learning
