Chromebook At-Home Use/Convenience Agreement

This At-Home Use/Convenience agreement is for the technology device issued to the student(s) listed
below by Bethany Public Schools. The cost of At-Home Use/Convenience Fee for an individual device is $40.
For families with multiple children in grades nine through twelve, Convenience Fee is $40.00 or $45.00 for the
first child and $20.00 or $25.00 for each additional child.
All service on a device is solely managed by Bethany Public Schools. Here is a list of the repair costs
for the Chromebook devices that will be issued to the student for the entire school year.
Minor Breakage (i.e. broken screen, broken keyboard/touchpad)
First Offense: $25.00
Further Offenses: $50.00 (Each)
Missing/Broken Power cord: *Price will vary based on model and current prices (approx. $40)
Full Replacement: *$225.00 (*To be determined by district staff)
At the time the Chromebook was issued, the serial number for each device was recorded for each student in the
districts student information system.
