I am attaching my resume with this email for the post of Controls Technician. I have diverse academic
background in three different countries which helped me to learn excellent problem solving and
technical skills. During my masters degree at Lancaster University, UK, I have developed PIP closed
loop control systems for ventilating pig farms and modelled industrial washing machine systems.
I have more than three years experience in welding, laser cutting, hot and cold stampings with ladder
logic programming with Kuka, ABB and Fanuc robot interfacing. I have worked at Cannon automotive
solutions, LaSalle as PLC Maintenance Technician. I was involved into logic design for the new cell
which was under commissioned at the plant in LaSalle and troubleshooting for existing plants at
Electromag, Ambassador Rd. Through this experience, I have gained excellent knowledge about Hot
Stamping & Laser cutting system design and controls according to OSHA regulations for automated
plant designing.
I would like to mention the experience during my position as Assistant Professor at Nirma University; I
was taking Electrical Machines and Power System courses at undergraduate and graduate level. I
was actively involved in department research activities as well as collaborated with local industries for
following projects, I have worked on PLC programming for elevator controlling systems, designed PID
controller for lifting variable weight using induction motors, implemented and tested CCTV camera
system for face recognition algorithm.
I have been involved in developing mathematical model of PMSM drives and validation for power
quality improvements for PMSM and VFD with front end single-phase switch rectifiers, electronics
systems e.g., digital energy meters, directional overcurrent protection meters.
I have excellent computer skills with experience with Office tools and Linux/Mac/Windows operating
systems, I hold USA B1/B2 visa and currently on work permit for Canada. I feel that I am well suited to
