Information regarding these operating instructions

Congratulations on the purchase of your new device.
You have clearly decided in favour of a quality product. These operating instructions
are a component of Universal Battery Charger (hereafter referred to as the device
or product). They contain important information in regard to safety, use and disposal.
Before using the product, familiarise yourself with all of these operating and safety
instructions. Use the product only as described and only for the specied areas of
application. In addition, pass these documents on, together with the product, to
any future owner.

This documentation is copyright protected. Any copying or reproduction, including
as extracts, as well as the reproduction of images, also in an altered state, is not
permitted without the express written consent of the manufacturer.

All technical information, data and instructions for the connection and operation contained in these operating instructions correspond to the latest available
at the time of printing and, to the best of our knowledge, take into account our
previous experience and know-how. No claims can be derived from the details,

Intended use
This device is intended exclusively for non-commercial use in the
charging of rechargeable Ni-Cd and Ni-MH batteries with the sizes
AAA/AA/C/D and 9 V Block with standard rated capacities,
charging of fast rechargeable, as well as not-fast rechargeable batteries
only.
Any other use or uses beyond those mentioned are considered to be unintended
use. Claims of any kind for damage resulting from unintended use will not be
accepted. The operator alone bears the liability.

Safety
In this section you will receive important safety information regarding the handling of the device. This device complies with the statutory safety regulations.
Incorrect usage can lead to injuries and property damage.

Basic Safety Instructions

For safe handling of the device observe the following safety instructions:
Before use check the device for visible external damage. Do not put into
operation a device that is damaged or has been dropped.
To avoid potential risks, if the appliance power cable is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, its customer service or by a qualied technician.
This appliance may be used by children aged 8 over and by persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge, provided that they are under supervision or have been told how to
use of the appliance safely and are aware of the potential risks. Children must
not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance tasks must not be
carried out by children unless they are supervised.

 A repair to the device during the warranty period may only be carried
out by a customer service department authorised by the manufacturer,
if it is not, additional warranty claims cannot be considered for subse
quent defects.

Do not make any changes or modications to the appliance yourself.

Protect the device from moisture and liquid penetration. Never submerge
the device in water, do not place the device in the vicinity of water and
do not stand any object lled with liquid (i.e. vases) on the device.
Do not operate the device in the vicinity of open ames (e.g. candles).
Avoid direct sunlight.
Charge exclusively rechargeable batteries of the types "Ni-Cd and
"Ni-MH".
NEVER recharge batteries of other types or non-rechargeable batteries.
These are not suitable for recharging. Batteries not suitable for recharging
can overheat and explode. It could irreparably damage the device and
the inserted batteries.

Interaction with rechargeable batteries (cells)

Do not use damaged or corroded rechargeable batteries in the device.
Rechargeable batteries (cells) can be fatal if swallowed. Therefore,
always keep the device and the rechargeable batteries out of the reach
of children!
If a rechargeable battery is swallowed medical assistance must be sought
IMMEDIATELY.
Should a battery have leaked, you must avoid contact by the battery uid
with the skin! The battery liquid can cause acid burns on the skin!
Remove the leaked battery liquid with a dry, absorbent cloth and avoid
contact by it with the skin by wearing, for example, a pair of gloves.

The device is delivered with the following components as standard:

NOTICE
Check the contents to make sure everything is there and for visible damage.
If the items supplied are incomplete, or damaged due to defective packaging
or transportation, contact the Service Hotline (see section Service).
Remove the device and the operating instructions from the carton.
Remove all packing material.
DANGER
Packaging material should not be used as a play thing.
There is a risk of suocation!

Disposal of the packaging

The packaging protects the device from transport damage. The packaging
materials are selected from the point of view of their environmental friendliness
and disposal technology and are therefore recyclable.
The recirculation of packaging into the material circuit saves on raw material
and reduces the amount of waste generated. Dispose of packaging material
that is no longer needed as per the regionally established regulations.
NOTICE
If possible preserve the device's original packaging during the warranty
period so that, in the event of a warranty claim, you can package the
device ideally for its return.

Handling and operation

In this chapter you will receive important information for the handling and operation of the device.

Charging batteries
Place the device on a smooth, level and slip resistant surface.
Compare the technical details with those of your power supplier. If they
match, insert the plug into a mains power socket. The LEDs glow red and
green once. The battery charger is now ready for use.
Insert the batteries into the loading slots . Press the 9 V Block batteries
into the loading slot until they audibly engage.
NOTICE
1 to 6 batteries can be individually charged:
- 4 x Type C or Type D in the loading slots 1 to 4
or
- 4 x Type AA or AAA in the loading slots 1 to 4 and additionally
2 x Type 9 Volt Block batteries in the loading slots 5 and 6.

Operating status displays

The various displays have the following meanings:

The LED blinks red and green in 1 second intervals (not for 9 V): The batteries
are being alternately charged and discharged (Refresh-Function: older or long
stored batteries are being refreshed).
The LED blinks red and green in 1/2 second intervals (not for 9 V): The
batteries are being discharged to reduce the memory eect.
The LED glows red constantly: The batteries are being charged with the
maximum charge current.
The LED glows green constantly: The batteries are fully charged and the
battery charger has switched to trickle charge.

Calculating the average charging time

Depending on the type, age and remaining charge in the batteries, the charging
process can take various lengths of time. The average charge time can be calculated using the following formula. Take note however that the times given are
only guiding values.
Charging Time (min) = Battery capacity (mAh) x 1.4 x 60
Charging current of the device (mA)

Automatic charging control / Retention charging

This battery charger controls the charging time for batteries of the types Ni-Cd
and Ni-MH separately. This control is based on the U ("minus Delta U")
calculation. In mathematics, with Delta dierences are indicated. In this case,
"Minus Delta U" means a negative voltage dierence.
This charge identication makes itself useful in the following eects: Should a
battery be charged with a constant current, its voltage rises continuously. When
a battery is full, its voltage reaches a maximum but falls again slightly with further
current ow. This light fall in voltage is recognised by the charging electronics and
the charge process is terminated. The battery charger automatically switches to
"Retention charging". This means that the batteries are no longer being loaded
with constant current, instead, with short current pulses. This counteracts the selfdischarge and the batteries are kept in a state of full charge.

Timer control
In addition, this battery charger has a timer control which automatically switches
over to retention charging after 15 hours. This serves as an additional protection
against overcharging should the charge termination not respond due to a possibly
defective battery.

Cleaning

DANGER
Always remove the plug before cleaning the device. There is the risk of an
electric shock!
When you are cleaning the device ensure that no moisture gets inside it, so
as to avoid irreparable damage to it.
IMPORTANT
Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents, as these can damage
the upper surfaces.
Clean the surfaces of the device with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn soiling
use a lightly moistened cloth.
Never clean the insides of the loading slots
use a clean soft brush to clean them.

Storage / Disposal
Storage
If you do not intend to use the device for a longer time, remove the batteries and
store it in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Disposal of the device

Do not dispose of the device in your normal domestic waste.
This product is subject to the provisions of the European Directive
2012/19/EU WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment).
Dispose of the device through an approved disposal centre or at your community
waste facility. Observe the currently applicable regulations. In case of doubt,
please contact your waste disposal centre.

Disposal of batteries / cells

Used batteries / cells may not be disposed of in household waste. All consumers
are statutorily obliged to dispose of batteries at a collection site of his community /
city district or at a retail store. The purpose of this obligation is to ensure that
batteries are disposed of in a non-polluting manner. Only dispose of batteries /
cells when they are fully discharged.

Troubleshooting

remedying of malfunctions.

The warranty covers only claims for material and manufacturing defects,

aparatului. nainte de utilizarea aparatului, familiarizai-v cu toate indicaiile de

Utilizarea conform cu destinaia

Acest aparat este destinat exclusiv folosirii n scopuri necomerciale pentru
ncrcarea acumulatorilor rencrcabili Ni-Cd i Ni-MH, mrime
AAA/AA/C/D i a blocurilor de 9 V cu capaciti de msurare uzuale
n comer,
ncrcarea acumulatorilor compatibili cu procedurile de ncrcare
rapid, precum i a celor fr aceast capacitate.
Orice alt utilizare este considerat a neconform. Preteniile de orice natur
nscute n urma deteriorrilor sau utilizrii neconforme sunt excluse. Riscul incumb
exclusiv utilizatorului.

n prezentele instruciuni sunt utilizate urmtoarele indicaii de avertizare:

aparatului.

Siguran
n acest capitol v sunt oferite indicaii importante privind sigurana la manevrarea
aparatului. Acest aparat corespunde reglementrilor prescrise n ceea ce privete
sigurana. O utilizare necorespunztoare poate conduce la vtmarea persoanelor
i pagube materiale.

Indicaii de securitate de baz

Pentru o manevrare n condiii de siguran a aparatului, respectai urmtoarele
indicaii privind sigurana.
nainte de utilizare vericai dac aparatul prezint defeciuni exterioare
vizibile. Nu punei n funciune un aparat deteriorat sau defect.
Pentru a evita orice risc, la defectarea cablului de racordare la reea al aparatului, acesta trebuie nlocuit de ctre productor, serviciul clieni sau de ctre o
alt persoan calicat.

 Acest aparat poate utilizat de copiii cu vrsta de peste 8 ani i de persoanele cu capaciti zice, senzoriale sau mentale reduse sau cu lips de
experien i/sau cunotine, cu condiia s e supravegheate sau s li se
explicat modul de utilizare n siguran i ele s neles posibilele pericole.
Copiii nu au voie s se joace cu aparatul. Curarea i ntreinerea aparatului nu sunt permise copiilor, fr supraveghere.

Repararea aparatului pe durata garaniei poate efectuat numai de ctre

un service clieni autorizat de ctre productor, n caz contrar garania ind
exclus pentru daunele pe cale de consecin.
Nu recondiionai i nu modicai aparatul cu de la sine putere.
Protejai aparatul mpotriva umezelii i inltrrii lichidelor. Nu scufundai
niciodat aparatul n ap, nu-l amplasai n apropierea acesteia i nu punei
pe aparat obiecte umplute cu lichide (de ex. vaze).
Nu deservii aparatul n apropierea crilor deschise (de ex. lumnri).
Evitai expunerea la lumina solar direct.
ncrcai numai acumulatori rencrcabili de tipul "Ni-Cd" i "Ni-MH".
Nu ncrcai niciodat acumulatori de alte tipuri sau baterii nerencrcabile.
Acestea nu pot rencrcate. Acumulatorii nerencrcabili se pot supranclzi i exploda. Acetia pot deteriora iremediabil aparatul i acumulatorii din
acesta.

Manevrarea bateriilor rencrcabile (acumulatorii)

Nu utilizai baterii rencrcabile deteriorate sau corodate n aparat.
Bateriile rencrcabile (acumulatorii) pot fatali n cazul nghiirii. De aceea,
nu inei aparatul i bateriile rencrcabile la ndemna copiilor mici!
Dac s-a nghiit o baterie rencrcabil, se va solicita asisten medical de
urgen.
Dac a curs lichid dintr-o baterie, sub nicio form acesta nu are voie s intre
n contact cu pielea! Lichidul din baterii poate provoca arsuri chimice!
ndeprai lichidul scurs din baterie cu o crp uscat, absorbant i evitai
contactul cu pielea, folosind n acest sens mnui de protecie.

Scoatei aparatul i instruciunile de utilizare din cutie.
ndeprtai toate materialele de ambalat.
PERICOL
Ambalajele nu trebuie utilizate pe post de jucrie.
Pericol de asxiere.

Eliminarea la deeuri a ambalajului

Ambalajul protejeaz aparatul mpotriva deteriorrilor n timpul transportului.
Materialele de ambalat sunt selectate innd seama de compatibilitatea lor cu
mediul i de aspectele tehnice privind eliminarea, ind astfel reciclabile.
Reintroducerea ambalajelor n circuitul materialelor contribuie la economia de
materie prim i reduce cantitatea de deeuri. Eliminai ambalajele de care nu
mai avei nevoie conform prevederilor locale n vigoare.
INDICAIE
Dac este posibil, pstrai ambalajul original n timpul perioadei de garanie,
pentru a-l putea ambala corespunztor n cazul reparaiilor n perioada de
garanie.

Deservirea i funcionarea
n acest capitol v sunt oferite indicaii importante cu privire la deservirea i
funcionarea aparatului.

ncrcarea acumulatorilor

RO

Aezai aparatul pe o suprafa dreapt, uniform i nealunecoas.

Comparai datele tehnice cu cele ale furnizorului dvs. de energie electric.
n cazul n care coincid, conectai cablul de alimentare la o priz. LED-urile
se aprind o dat n rou i n verde. ncrctorul de acumulatori este acum
gata de funcionare.
Introducei acumulatorii n locaurile de ncrcare . Apsai acumulatorii
de tip bloc de 9 V n locaurile de ncrcare , pn cnd anclaneaz cu
un zgomot specic.
INDICAIE
Pot ncrcai individual 16 acumulatori:
- 4 x tip C sau tip D n locaurile de ncrcare

1 pn la 4

- 4 x tip AA sau AAA n locaurile de ncrcare 1 pn la 4 i suplimentar

Indicatoarele de funcionare
Diferitele indicatoare au urmtoarele semnicaii:
LED-ul clipete rou-verde la intervale de o secund (nu pentru blocul
de 9 V): Acumulatorii sunt ncrcai i descrcai alternativ (funcia Refresh:
acumulatorii mai vechi sau depozitai timp ndelungat sunt remprosptai).

RO

LED-ul clipete rou-verde la intervale de o 1/2 secund (nu pentru blocul

de 9 V): acumulatorii sunt descrcai pentru a reduce efectul Memory.
LED-ul lumineaz rou continuu: Acumulatorii sunt ncrcai cu un curent
de ncrcare maxim.
LED-ul lumineaz verde continuu: Acumulatorii sunt complet ncrcai,
iar ncrctorul comut pe regimul de ncrcare de ntreinere.

Calcularea duratei medii de ncrcare

n funcie de tip, vechime i starea de ncrcare rezidual a acumulatorilor,
durata de ncrcare este variabil. Duratele diferite de ncrcare pot calculate
cu ajutorul urmtoarei formule. Reinei totui c valorile pentru aceste durate de
ncrcare sunt orientative.
Durat de ncrcare (min.) = capacitatea acumulatorului (mAh) x 1,4 x 60
curentul de ncrcare al aparatului (mA)

Controlul automat de ncrcare/meninerea ncrcrii

Acest ncrctor comand separat duratele de ncrcare pentru acumulatorii
de tip Ni-Cd i Ni-MH. Aceast comand st la baza procedurii U ("minus
Delta U"). Delta se folosete la descrierea diferenelor n matematic. "Minus
Delta U" indic n acest caz o diferen negativ de tensiune.
Aceast recunoatere a terminrii ncrcrii are urmtoarele efecte avantajoase:
Dac un acumulator este ncrcat cu un curent constant, tensiunea acestuia crete
n continuare. Dac un acumulator este complet ncrcat, tensiunea sa atinge un
nivel maxim i scade apoi din nou uor n cazul unui ux de curent suplimentar.
Aceast uoar cdere de tensiune este detectat de electronica ncrctorului,
iar procesul de ncrcare este terminat. ncrctorul de acumulatori comut
automat pe "ncrcarea de ntreinere". Aceasta nseamn c acumulatorii nu
mai sunt ncrcai continuu cu curent, ci doar cu impulsuri scurte de curent. Prin
aceasta este contracarat descrcarea autonom, iar acumulatorii sunt meninui
ntr-o stare de complet ncrcare.

Comanda temporizat
Suplimentar, ncrctorul dispune de o comand temporizat, care comut
automat dup 15 ore pe ncrcarea de ntreinere. Aceasta servete ca protecie
suplimentar mpotriva suprancrcrii, n cazul n care detecia strii de ncrcare nu reacioneaz din cauza unui eventual acumulator defect.

Curarea
PERICOL

persistente, utilizai o crp uor umezit.
Nu curai sub nicio form locaurile de ncrcare

Depozitare / eliminare la deeuri

Depozitare
Dac aparatul nu va utilizat o perioad ndelungat, scoatei acumulatorii i
depozitai-i ntr-un loc curat, uscat, fr lumin solar direct.

Eliminarea aparatului
Nu aruncai sub nicio form aparatul mpreun cu gunoiul
menajer. Acest produs intr sub incidena directivei europene
2012/19/EU WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment deeuri din echipamente electrice i electronice).
Eliminai aparatul la deeuri prin intermediul unei companii autorizate n acest
sens sau al autoritii locale pentru eliminarea deeurilor. Respectai reglementrile
n vigoare. Dac avei nelmuriri, contactai serviciul dumneavoastr local de
eliminare a deeurilor.

Eliminarea la deeuri a bateriilor / acumulatorilor

Bateriile / acumulatorii nu se arunc mpreun cu gunoiul menajer. Fiecare
utilizator este obligat prin lege s predea bateriile / acumulatorii unui punct de
colectare din comunitatea / localitatea de domiciliu sau colectorilor din comer.
Aceast obligaie are scopul de a elimina ecologic bateriile / acumulatorii. Predai
bateriile / acumulatorii la punctele de colectare numai n stare descrcat.

Auaden von wiederauadbaren Ni-Cd und Ni-MH-Akkus der Gren
AAA/AA/C/D und 9 V-Block mit handelsblichen Bemessungskapazitten,
Auaden von schnellladefhigen, sowie nicht schnellladefhigen Akkus
bestimmt.
Eine andere oder darber hinausgehende Benutzung gilt als nicht bestimmungsgem. Ansprche jeglicher Art wegen Schden aus nicht bestimmungsgemer
Verwendung sind ausgeschlossen. Das Risiko trgt allein der Benutzer.

Grundlegende Sicherheitshinweise
Beachten Sie fr einen sicheren Umgang mit dem Gert die folgenden
Sicherheitshinweise:
Kontrollieren Sie das Gert vor der Verwendung auf uere sichtbare Schden.
Nehmen Sie ein beschdigtes oder heruntergefallenes Gert nicht in Betrieb.
Wenn die Netzanschlussleitung dieses Gertes beschdigt wird, muss sie durch
den Hersteller oder seinen Kundendienst oder eine hnlich qualizierte Person
ersetzt werden, um Gefhrdungen zu vermeiden.
Dieses Gert kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren und darber sowie von Personen mit verringerten physischen, sensorischen oder mentalen Fhigkeiten
oder Mangel an Erfahrung und Wissen benutzt werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt oder bezglich des sicheren Gebrauchs des Gertes unterwiesen
wurden und die daraus resultierenden Gefahren verstehen. Kinder drfen
nicht mit dem Gert spielen. Reinigung und Benutzer-Wartung drfen nicht

 Eine Reparatur des Gertes whrend der Garantiezeit darf nur von einem vom
Hersteller autorisierten Kundendienst vorgenommen werden, sonst besteht bei
nachfolgenden Schden kein Garantieanspruch mehr.
Nehmen Sie keine eigenmchtigen Umbauten oder Vernderungen am
Gert vor.
Schtzen Sie das Gert vor Feuchtigkeit und dem Eindringen von Flssigkeiten.
Tauchen Sie das Gert niemals unter Wasser, stellen Sie das Gert nicht in der
Nhe von Wasser auf und stellen Sie keine mit Flssigkeit gefllten Gegenstnde (z. B. Vasen) auf das Gert.

Das Gert nicht in der Nhe von oenen Flammen (z.B. Kerzen) betreiben.
Vermeiden Sie direkte Sonneneinstrahlung.
Laden Sie ausschlielich wiederauadbare Akkus der Typen Ni-Cd und
Ni-MH.
Laden Sie niemals Akkus anderen Typs oder nicht-wiederauadbare Batterien
auf. Diese sind nicht zum Auaden geeignet. Nicht ladefhige Akkus knnen
berhitzen und explodieren. Es knnen das Gert und die eingelegten Akkus
irreparabel beschdigt werden.

Umgang mit wiederauadbaren Batterien (Akkus)

Verwenden Sie keine beschdigten oder korrodierten wiederauadbaren
Batterien im Gert.
Wiederauadbare Batterien (Akkus) knnen bei Verschlucken lebensgefhrlich sein. Bewahren Sie deshalb das Gert und die wiederauadbaren
Batterien fr Kleinkinder unerreichbar auf!
Wurde eine wiederauadbare Batterie verschluckt, muss sofort medizinische
Hilfe in Anspruch genommen werden.
Sollte eine Batterie ausgelaufen sein, vermeiden Sie auf jeden Fall den
Kontakt der Batteriessigkeit mit der Haut! Die Batteriessigkeit kann
Hautvertzungen verursachen!
Entfernen Sie ausgelaufene Batteriessigkeit mit einem trockenen, saugfhigem Tuch und vermeiden Sie dabei den Kontakt zur Haut, indem Sie z. B.
Handschuhe benutzen.

Prfen Sie die Lieferung auf Vollstndigkeit und auf sichtbare Schden.
Bei einer unvollstndigen Lieferung oder Schden infolge mangelhafter
Verpackung oder durch Transport wenden Sie sich an die Service-Hotline
(siehe Kapitel Service).
Entnehmen Sie das Gert und die Bedienungsanleitung aus dem Karton.
Entfernen Sie smtliches Verpackungsmaterial.
GEFAHR
Verpackungsmaterialien drfen nicht zum Spielen verwendet werden.
Es besteht Erstickungsgefahr.

Entsorgung der Verpackung

Die Verpackung schtzt das Gert vor Transportschden. Die Verpackungsmaterialien sind nach umweltvertrglichen und entsorgungstechnischen Gesichtspunkten
ausgewhlt und deshalb recyclebar.
Die Rckfhrung der Verpackung in den Materialkreislauf spart Rohstoe und
verringert das Abfallaufkommen. Entsorgen Sie nicht mehr bentigte Verpackungsmaterialien gem den rtlich geltenden Vorschriften.
HINWEIS
Heben Sie wenn mglich die Originalverpackung whrend der Garantiezeit
des Gertes auf, um das Gert im Garantiefall ordnungsgem verpacken
zu knnen.

Bedienung und Betrieb

In diesem Kapitel erhalten Sie wichtige Hinweise zur Bedienung und zum Betrieb
des Gertes.

Akkus auaden
Stellen Sie das Gert auf einem geraden, ebenen und rutschfesten Untergrund auf.
Vergleichen Sie die technischen Daten mit denen Ihres Stromnetzbetreibers.
Bei bereinstimmung schlieen Sie das Netzkabel an eine Steckdose an.
Die LEDs leuchten einmal rot und grn auf. Das Akku-Ladegert ist jetzt
betriebsbereit.

Setzen Sie die Akkus in die Ladeschchte ein. Drcken Sie die Akkus Typ
9 V-Block in die Ladeschchte , bis sie hrbar einrasten.
HINWEIS
Es knnen individuell 16 Akkus geladen werden:
- 4 x Typ C oder Typ D in den Ladeschchten 1 bis 4
oder
- 4 x Typ AA oder AAA in den Ladeschchten 1 bis 4 und zustzlich
2 x Typ 9 V-Block in den Ladeschchten 5 und 6.
Der Ladevorgang beginnt nun. Das Akku-Ladegert besitzt je eine LED
fr jedes Fach im Ladeschacht
. Die LEDs der jeweiligen Ladezeigen den Ladezustand der einzelnen Akkus an.

Betriebszustandsanzeigen
Die verschiedenen Anzeigen haben folgende Bedeutungen:
Die LED blinkt im Sekundentakt rot und grn (nicht fr 9 V-Block): Die Akkus
werden abwechselnd geladen und entladen (Refresh-Funktion: ltere oder
lange gelagerte Akkus werden wieder aufgefrischt).
Die LED blinkt im 1/2 Sekundentakt rot und grn (nicht fr 9 V-Block): Die
Akkus werden entladen, um den Memory-Eekt zu verringern.
Die LED leuchtet durchgehend rot: Die Akkus werden mit dem maximalen
Ladestrom geladen.

und das Akku-Ladegert schaltet auf Erhaltungsladung um.

Berechnung der durchschnittlichen Ladezeit

Abhngig von Typ, Alter und Restladezustand der Akkus dauert der Auadevorgang unterschiedlich lange. Die durchschnittlichen Ladezeiten knnen Sie mit
Hilfe nachstehender Formel berechnen. Beachten Sie jedoch, dass es sich bei
den berechneten Zeiten nur um Richtwerte handelt.
Ladezeit (Min.) = Kapazitt des Akkus (mAh) x 1,4 x 60
Ladestrom des Gertes (mA)

Automatische Ladekontrolle / Erhaltungsladung

Dieses Akku-Ladegert steuert die Ladezeit fr Akkus vom Typ Ni-Cd und Ni-MH
separat. Dieser Steuerung liegt das U (minus Delta U) Verfahren zugrunde.
Mit dem Delta bezeichnet man in der Mathematik Dierenzen. Minus Delta U
bedeutet in diesem Fall eine negative Spannungsdierenz.
Diese Ladeschlusserkennung macht sich folgenden Eekt zu nutze: Wird ein Akku
mit konstantem Strom geladen, steigt seine Spannung immer weiter an. Ist ein
Akku voll, so erreicht seine Spannung jedoch ein Maximum und fllt bei weiterem Stromuss wieder leicht ab. Dieser leichte Spannungsabfall wird von der
Ladeelektronik erkannt und der Ladevorgang wird beendet. Das Akku-Ladegert
schaltet automatisch auf Erhaltungsladung. Das heit, die Akkus werden nicht
mehr mit Dauerstrom, sondern mit kurzen Stromimpulsen geladen. Dadurch wird
der Selbstentladung entgegengewirkt und die Akkus werden in einem vollstndigen Ladezustand gehalten.

Timersteuerung
Zustzlich verfgt das Akku-Ladegert ber eine Timersteuerung, welche nach
15 Stunden automatisch in die Erhaltungsladung wechselt. Dies dient als zustzlicher Schutz vor berladung, falls die Ladeschlusserkennung aufgrund eines evtl.
defekten Akkus nicht reagiert.

Reinigung
GEFAHR
Ziehen Sie vor jeder Reinigung den Netzstecker. Es besteht die Gefahr
eines elektrischen Schlages!
Stellen Sie sicher, dass bei der Reinigung keine Feuchtigkeit in das Gert
eindringt, um eine irreparable Beschdigung des Gertes zu vermeiden.

Verwenden Sie keine aggressiven oder scheuernden Reinigungsmittel, da

diese die Gehuseoberche angreifen knnen.
Reinigen Sie die Oberchen des Gertes mit einem weichen, trockenen
Tuch. Benutzen Sie bei hartnckigen Verschmutzungen ein leicht angefeuchtetes Tuch.
Reinigen Sie das Innere der Ladeschchte
keinesfalls feucht. Benutzen
Sie zum Subern stattdessen einen sauberen, weichen Pinsel.
Reinigen Sie die Ladekontakte bei Verschmutzung mit einem trockenen Tuch.

Lagerung / Entsorgung
Lagerung
Sollten Sie das Gert lngere Zeit nicht benutzen, entnehmen Sie die Akkus und
lagern Sie es an einem sauberen, trockenen Ort ohne direkte Sonneneinstrahlung.

Gert entsorgen
Werfen Sie das Gert keinesfalls in den normalen Hausmll.
Dieses Produkt unterliegt der europischen Richtlinie 2012/19/EU
WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment).
Entsorgen Sie das Gert ber einen zugelassenen Entsorgungsbetrieb oder ber
Ihre kommunale Entsorgungseinrichtung. Beachten Sie die aktuell geltenden
Vorschriften. Setzen Sie sich im Zweifelsfall mit Ihrer Entsorgungseinrichtung in
Verbindung.

Batterien / Akkus entsorgen

Batterien / Akkus drfen nicht im Hausmll entsorgt werden. Jeder Verbraucher ist
gesetzlich verpichtet, Batterien / Akkus bei einer Sammelstelle seiner Gemeinde /
seines Stadtteils oder im Handel abzugeben. Diese Verpichtung dient dazu, dass
Batterien / Akkus einer umweltschonenden Entsorgung zugefhrt werden knnen.
Geben Sie Batterien / Akkus nur im entladenen Zustand zurck.

Sie den Kassenbon als Nachweis fr den Kauf auf. Bitte setzen Sie sich im
Garantiefall mit Ihrer Servicestelle telefonisch in Verbindung. Nur so kann eine
kostenlose Einsendung Ihrer Ware gewhrleistet werden.
HINWEIS
Die Garantieleistung gilt nur fr Material- oder Fabrikationsfehler, nicht
aber fr Transportschden, Verschleiteile oder fr Beschdigungen an
zerbrechlichen Teilen, z.B. Schalter oder Akkus.
Das Produkt ist lediglich fr den privaten und nicht fr den gewerblichen Gebrauch
bestimmt. Bei missbruchlicher und unsachgemer Behandlung, Gewaltanwendung und bei Eingrien, die nicht von unserer autorisierten Service-Niederlassung
vorgenommen wurden, erlischt die Garantie. Ihre gesetzlichen Rechte werden
durch diese Garantie nicht eingeschrnkt. Die Garantiezeit wird durch die

Eventuell schon beim Kauf vorhandene Schden und Mngel mssen sofort nach
dem Auspacken gemeldet werden, sptestens aber zwei Tage nach Kaufdatum.
Nach Ablauf der Garantiezeit anfallende Reparaturen sind kostenpichtig.
