President Project
Directions to complete your Presidents Project Informative Writing
1. Follow the guide to research the information necessary with using a book or the internet.
2. Then you will start your pre-writing in your writing notebook.
3. When you have completed your pre-writing you need to revise it yourself first.
4. After you have done your own revisions you then can conference with a classmate.
5. Next, revise again utilizing your classmates suggestions.
6. When done you can conference with the teacher.
7. Now you are almost done with the writing part do your final draft on white paper.
8. Upon completion of your final draft you then can start creating your Power Point using the
information you have on your final draft and then you can add pictures, animation, sound,
and other useful tools to display your knowledge of the computer.
9. Rubrics are below, use them as a guide. You will receive two grades for this project one for
the Informational Writing and the other for your Power Point Presentation.
