Education Teacher Performance Assessment (edTPA) completed. Developed innovative
lesson plans for a virtual Kindergarten class with multiple interdisciplinary connections, and
incorporated many activities that enabled critical thinking. Modified instruction to meet each
students needs, used manipulatives to enhance learning, facilitated guided reading, worked
with Special Education teacher and RTI specialist to individualize instruction for struggling
students and students on an IEP. Had private discussions with students to ensure they were
on task and understanding, participated in teacher-based team meetings, evaluated student
learning using a variety of formative and summative assessments.

Developed innovative behavior management techniques that helped implement and maintain
good behavior. Created lesson plans that catered to students with Special Needs including

be able to communicate with the ELL students. Collaborated with colleagues on developing
new classroom projects.
