EXPANSIONS

An expansion adds new elements, such as characters, objectives, locations, weapons,

etc. to an existing game.

Two types of Expansions Needs the base game

Stand alone

Using the FRBR system, we determined that expansions should be considered their own
work and thusly have individual records because:
Expansions, whether stand alone or requiring the base game, can have elements
altogether different from that of the base game, such as designer, players, gameplay
mechanics, number of players, theme, change time required, etc.
Expansion records should be collocated to the base game, whether they require it or
not
