Abstract
This paper is a continuation of [1], [2]. In this paper, generalised nearly Special Sasakian and generalised
almost Special Sasakian manifolds have been introduced and some of their properties have been established with
generalised Co-symplectic manifolds. Generalised semi-symmetric metric F-connection in a generalised Special
Sasakian manifold has also been introduced.
Keywords: Generalised nearly Special Sasakian manifold, generalised almost Special Sasakian manifold,
generalised Co-symplectic manifolds, generalised semi-symmetric metric F-connection.

generalised almost S-Sasakian manifold), if

Generalised Co-symplectic manifolds

A generalised almost contact metric manifold is called a generalised Co-symplectic manifold [2], if
( ) + 1 () 1 + 2 () 2 + ( 1 )( )1 + ( 2 )( )2 = 0

(3.1) (a)
(b)

( `)(, ) 1 ()( 1 )() 2 ()( 2 )() + 1 ()( 1 )() + 2 ()( 2 )() = 0

Therefore, a generalised Co-symplectic manifold will be a generalised S-Sasakian manifold, if

(3.2) (a) 2( 1 )( ) = 2( 2 )( ) = `(, )
(b) 2( 1 )( ) + 2 () = 2( 2 )( ) + 1 () = ( , )
(c) 2 1 = 2 ,

2 2 = 1

A generalised almost contact metric manifold is called a generalised nearly Co-symplectic manifold [2], if
(3.3)

( `)(, ) 1 ()( 1 )( ) 2 ()( 2 )( ) + 1 ()( 1 )( ) + 2 ()( 2 )( )

= ( `)(, ) 1 ()( 1 )( ) 2 ()( 2 )( ) + 1 ()( 1 )( ) + 2 ()( 2 )( )
= ( `)(, ) 1 ()( 1 )( ) 2 ()( 2 )( ) + 1 ()( 1 )( ) + 2 ()( 2 )( )

It is clear that a generalised nearly S-Sasakian manifold will be a generalised nearly Co-symplectic manifold, if
(3.4) (a) 2( 1 )( ) = 2( 2 )( ) = `(, )
(b) 2( 1 )( ) + 2 () = 2( 2 )( ) + 1 () = ( , )
(c) 2 1 = 2 ,

2 2 = 1

A generalised almost contact metric manifold is called a generalised almost Co-symplectic manifold [2], if
(3.5)

( `)(, ) + ( `)(, ) + ( `)(, ) + 1 (){( 1 )( ) ( 1 )( )} +

2 (){( 2 )( ) ( 2 )( )} + 1 (){( 1 )( ) ( 1 )( )} + 2 (){( 2 )( )
( 2 )( )} + 1 (){( 1 )( ) ( 1 )( )} + 2 (){( 2 )( ) ( 2 )( )} = 0

Therefore, A generalised almost Co-symplectic manifold will be a generalised almost S-Sasakian manifold, if
(3.6) (a) 2( 1 )( ) = 2( 2 )( ) = `(, )
(b) 2( 1 )( ) + 2 () = 2( 2 )( ) + 1 () = ( , )

Completely Integrable manifolds

Barring , , in (1.5) and using equations (2.4), (1.4) (b), we see that a generalised nearly S-Sasakian
manifold will be completely integrable, if
(4.1) ( `)( , ) = ( `)( , )
Barring X, Y, Z in (1.5) and using equations (2.9), (1.4) (b), we see that a generalised almost S-Sasakian manifold
will be completely integrable, if
(4.2) ( `)( , ) = 0

Generalised semi-symmetric metric F-connection in a generalised S-Sasakian manifold

Let 21 is a submanifold of 2+1 and let 21 2+1 is inclusion map such that
21 2+1 ,

Where induces a Jacobian map (linear transformation)

21 2+1 .

21 is a tangent space to 21 at point and 2+1 is a tangent space to 2+1 at point such that
in 21 at in 2+1 at
Let be the induced metric tensor in 21, then
(, ) = (( ( , ))

(5.1)

After a long computation, generalised semi-symmetric metric F-connection in a generalised S-Sasakian manifold
is given by
2 = 2 + 1 () + 2 () (, )1 (, )2 21 () 22 () ,

(5.2)

Where and are arbitrary vector fields of 2+1. Let

1 = 1 + 1 + 1

(5.3) (a)

and

2 = 2 + 2 + 2

(b)

Where 1 and 2 are vector fields in 21 and and are unit normal vectors to 21 .
Denoting by the connection induced on the submanifold from .
Gauss equation is defined by
(5.4)

= ( ) + (, ) + (, )

Where and are symmetric bilinear functions in 21 .

Similarly,
(5.5)

= ( ) + (, ) + (, ) ,

Where the connection is induced on the submanifold from and , are symmetric bilinear functions in 21 .
Inconsequence of (5.2), we have
(5.6)

2 = 2 + 1 () + 2 () ( , )1 (, )2 21 ( ) 22 ()

International Journal of Computational Intelligence and Information Security, May 2015, Vol. 6 No. 5, ISSN: 1837-7823

Using (5.4), (5.5) and (5.6), we get

(5.7)

2 ( ) + 2(, ) + 2(, ) = 2( ) + 2(, ) + 2(, ) + 1 ( ) +

2 () (, )1 (, )2 21 () 22 ()
From (5.3) (a) and (5.3) (b), we have
(5.8)

2 ( ) + 2(, ) + 2(, ) = 2( ) + 2(, ) + 2(, ) + 1 ( ) +

2 ( ) ( , )( 1 + 1 + 1 ) (, )( 2 + 2 + 2 ) 21 ( ) 22 ( )
1 ) 1 ( )
(,

Where

2 ) 2 ( )
and (,

This implies
= 2
+ 1 ( ) + 2 ( ) (, )1 (, )2 21 ( ) + 2 ( )
2

(5.9)
Iff
(5.10) (a)
(b)

2(, ) = 2( , ) 1 ( , ) 2 ( , )
2(, ) = 2(, ) 1 ( , ) 2 ( , )

Thus we have
Theorem 5.1 The connection induced on a submanifold of a generalised Special Sasakian manifold with a
generalised semi-symmetric metric F-connection with respect to unit normal vectors and is also semisymmetric metric F-connection iff (5.10) holds.
