MD waits for wheel spin up for the ground spoiler to deploy, then autobrakes to start Airbus waits for ground contact on both main wheels allowing ground spoiler deployment, then autobrakes to start. No need for wheelspin check, it detects IRS groundspeed instead (antiskid keeps Wheelspin speed > 0.87 IRS Groundspeed whenever IRS GND SPD >20kts).

Jika ground spoilers tidak di arm, dan 1 lever at idle, and 1 in reverse. Boeing (737-3/4/5/6/7/8/9): Rejected Takeoff (RTO): - Autobrakes selected to RTO when wheelspeed <60Kts and thrust levers at idle. - Autobrake selection on RTO results in successful automatic self-test. Autobrake on RTO will then be active when: - Wheelspeed >90knots - Thrust levers retarded to IDLE. Boeing (747-400, 777) Selecting RTO (rejected takeoff) prior to takeoff arms the autobrake system. The RTO mode can be selected only on the ground. The RTO autobrake setting commands maximum braking pressure if: The airplane is on the ground Groundspeed is above 85 knots, and Both thrust levers are retarded to idle. Maximum braking is obtained in this mode. If an RTO is initiated below 85 knots, the
RTO autobrake function does not operate.
