Boeing waits for wheel spin up for autobrakes to start.

MD waits for wheel spin up for the ground spoiler to deploy, then
autobrakes to start
Airbus waits for ground contact on both main wheels allowing
ground spoiler deployment, then autobrakes to start. No need for
wheelspin check, it detects IRS groundspeed instead (antiskid
keeps Wheelspin speed > 0.87 IRS Groundspeed whenever IRS
GND SPD >20kts).

Autobrakes butuh di arm, dan akan aktivasi pada Ground Spoiler activation.
Ground spoiler activation untuk rejected take off akan terjadi jika pada groundspeed
>72kts terjadi:
1. Jika ground spoilers di arm dan Both thrust levers at idle, atau
2. Jika ground spoilers tidak di arm, dan 1 lever at idle, and 1 in reverse.
Boeing (737-3/4/5/6/7/8/9):
Rejected Takeoff (RTO):
- Autobrakes selected to RTO when wheelspeed <60Kts and thrust levers at idle.
- Autobrake selection on RTO results in successful automatic self-test.
Autobrake on RTO will then be active when:
- Wheelspeed >90knots
- Thrust levers retarded to IDLE.
Boeing (747-400, 777)
Selecting RTO (rejected takeoff) prior to takeoff arms the autobrake system.
The RTO mode can be selected only on the ground. The RTO autobrake setting
commands maximum braking pressure if:
The airplane is on the ground
Groundspeed is above 85 knots, and
Both thrust levers are retarded to idle.
Maximum braking is obtained in this mode. If an RTO is initiated below 85 knots, the

RTO autobrake function does not operate.

MD80:
- Autobrake successfully armed.
- Autobrake on RTO activated by selecting reversers and/or ground spoilers (manual
or automatic).

relative 60 sampai 100 knot putaran roda,.....
maka sensor accelerator mematikan fungsi ANTI SKID Module supaya roda / ban
tidak SLIP atau SKID,......karena REM automatis di dis fungsi,..
disinilah bekerjanya ANTI SKID,....seperti ABS pada Mobil,...yak,...
ketika,....main gear mulai berputar normal menapak dengan speed dari tinggi mulai
menurun,...140 knot,....graduali ke 100 not,.....
AUTO BRAKE mulai bekerja,.....
jika di MAX,.....akan mulai bekerja sekitar 140 knot ,...de- counting menurun
jika di MED,.....akan mulai bekerja sekitar 100 knot ,...de- counting menurun
jika di LOW,.....akan mulai bekerja sekitar 80 knot ,...de- counting menurun
