Hmm Moment: Of the content covered in class, what are you still perplexed

about and why?

a. I have to be completely honest. I have a hard time trusting the science
that is being used to show that humans evolved from another species, and was not in fact
created by God. I havent seen any science that would disprove my faith, nor the
existence of the God who created the universe.
2.
AHA Moment: What specific AHA moment have you had in this course about
human evolution (broadly defined)?
a. My AHA moment was definitely about how complex the human body is. It
is extraordinarily complex and adaptable, and it is obviously designed to be uniquely
human. I think that this course pointed out the beauty and complexity of the human body
really well.

Because of your stellar performance in this class, you have been asked to tutor
another biological anthropology student. How would you explain to them how biological
anthropologists view the theory of human evolution? Your explanation should include specific
examples of evidence biological anthropologists view as supporting the theory of human
evolution.
a. As a tutor for another student, I would explain that this theory as defined
by the bio-anthropological field is seen as fact. The evidence that they take advantage of
to prove this theory is a combination of multiple scientific tests, including the fossil record,
and radiocarbon dating. Bio-anthropologists believe that the human race evolved, but are
not actually directly related to monkeys which is a common misconception. They believe
that the earth is millions of years old, and human evolution has been going on from the
beginning.
