Family Futures’ internships are understood to be intensive learning experiences that have significant ‘academic and practical components that allow students to gain real-world experience and satisfy academic requirements. Students are carefully supervised by Family Futures staff members in conjunction with the student's school staff and departmental learning contracts. Intern Responsibility The student wil: ‘+ Meet with their supervisor to establish learning objectives and discuss progression and performance of these objectives on a weekly basis. ‘+ Fulfill the Family Futures’ Internship Checklist as well as futfil all requirements outlined by the student's school and/or academic department. Attend a Family Futures orientation on January 5, 2015 or January 6, 2015 from 9:00 am - 11:00 am. Average at least 15 hours/week on internship related tasks.
